Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Beginning in 2029, the Oscars will be moving from ABC to YouTube. It will be available live and free on YouTube and on YouTube TV for subscribers.

Warner Bros. has looked at Paramount’s takeover bid and said, “Yeah, no thanks, go away.” This could lead to more bidding on both sides … or maybe Netflix wins? Somehow, I don’t think that nepo baby David Ellison is going to just walk away.
Ted Sarandos SWEARS he will continue releasing Warner Bros. movies in theaters, you guys. HE PROMISES.
And in other takeover news, Scripps’ board unanimously rejected Sinclair’s unsolicited takeover bid. GOOD.
Speaking of Sinclair, Brendan Carr is a toad.
Words cannot even begin to describe the unimaginable pain we are experiencing every moment of the day. The horrific and devastating loss of our parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, is something that no one should ever experience. They weren’t just our parents; they were our best friends. We are grateful for the outpouring of condolences, kindness, and support we have received not only from family and friends but people from all walks of life. We now ask for respect and privacy, for speculation to be tempered with compassion and humanity, and for our parents to be remembered for the incredible lives they lived and the love they gave.
And a group of Rob and Michelle Reiner’s friends, including Billy and Janice Crystal, Albert and Kimberly Brooks, Martin Short, Alan and Robin Zweibel, Larry David and Ashley Underwood, Marc Shaiman and Lou Mirabal, Barry and Diana Levinson, and Ambassador James Costos and Michael Smith, released a beautiful tribute to them both. “There is a line from one of Rob’s favorite films, ‘It’s a Wonderful Life,’ ‘Each man’s life touches so many other lives, and when he isn’t around, he leaves an awful hole, doesn’t he?’ You have no idea.” (You should read the entire thing.)
It was just the other day that Will Arnett shared a darkly funny story on Conan O’Brien’s podcast that featured Conan O’Brien’s Christmas party from last year, and now … this. I can’t fathom how he must be feeling right now.
And apparently, Friends and Seinfeld exist in the same Mad About You universe.
Kit Harington is done playing Jon Snow, thankyouverymuch. But he’s not done with fantasy series …
