Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

The Presidential debates might still be on, it’s just unclear when, where, and with whom. One thing is for certain: Vance is terrified to debate Walz (but I really don’t think he wants that Harris fire, either).

Steve Martin has declined the offer to play Tim Walz on SNL, insisting that he’s not an impressionist. I understand but am still disappointed a little.

Bill Lawrence is out here giving hope for all sorts of second lives for shows: first Scrubs, and now Ted Lasso? (There won’t be more Ted Lasso, at least not anytime soon, and probably not in the form of Ted Lasso.)

Ted Lasso tangent: I was in London during my most recent disappearance from the site, and while touring Hampton Court Palace (one of King Henry VIII’s favorite homes), on a bridge featuring a number of different heralds, including dragons and griffins and lions, I noticed this charming greyhound.

It was only when I walked past it that I realized that the greyhound was the symbol of the Earl of Richmond:

ENHANCE!!!

And that is why Ted Lasso’s Richmond soccer team is the Greyhounds.

And now you know! (Apologies if you knew this already.)

I am dying to know what the hell is going on behind the scenes at General Hospital.

Warner Bros. Discovery’s stock is still slipping because their linear networks are worth $9 billion than they thought. Maybe all those Discovery reality channels that you staked your entire career on are bullshit, David Zaslav?

None of the Game of Thrones kids watch House of the Dragon, and it’s hard to blame them, honestly.

Wait, hold up, Derek Hough and Julianne Hough were feuding about something? They’re not anymore, I guess, but I had no idea there was beef.

Feel better soon, James Austin Johnson!
