Evangeline Lilly tells Hollywood to get Lost

Your moment of zen:

(Totally gross fact: the mother of this child, Rep. Rose’s wife Chelsea, married him when she was 21 and he was 45. They met when she was a 17-year-old high school student and he was the vice chairman of the board of the Tennessee FFA.)

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Max just hiked the price of its ad-free tier just ahead of the premiere of House of the Dragon, and there’s NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. Now, if you can wait past the premiere of House of the Dragon, there will be a bundling option for Disney, Hulu, and Max sometime later this summer that might be worth your time.

Meanwhile, Peacock is also going to increase the price of their subscriptions, but you have until the end of June to lock in a discounted price of $19.99 for a year for the ad-supported tier when you use the code STREAMTHEDEAL.

Oh and if you have an old Apple TV — like a 2nd or 3rd generation old — you’re about to lose Netflix.

Evangeline Lilly is stepping away from acting for a while:

A little over a year ago, Lilly opened up about being anti-vaxx and admitted to never having felt “lonelier in Hollywood than I do now.” Obviously, I am not a psychologist, but it has felt like in the past couple of years, possibly in part to her experience with the pandemic, in part because of the advent of #MeToo occurring just as she hit her mid-thirties, Lilly has been reevaluating her relationship with acting and Hollywood in general. I hope she finds the peace she’s clearly been looking for.

A bunch of Savannah Chrisley’s fans are super mad about her posting her support of Former President Convicted Felon but it’s like … look at who her parents are, y’all.

Congratulations to Kristen Welker!

Congratulations to Trina McGee — and good luck.

#MeToo

The Feds are opening a grand jury into the Sean Combs case and he could face a federal indictment. GOOD.

Rolling Stone has a piece of in-depth reporting alleging that Combs’ violence towards women can be traced back to his college days, and that his abuses took place in front of countless witnesses over the years.

Meanwhile, Violetta Wallace, Biggie’s mother, is VERY DISAPPOINTED in Combs:

Kanye West has been sued for sexual harassment by a former assistant and frankly, the only surprising thing here is that it took this long to happen.

WHY ARE WE STILL GIVING JERRY SEINFELD ATTENTION, Y’ALL? HE DOESN’T HAVE ANYTHING TO PROMOTE ANYMORE, NOW THAT THE DUMB POP TART MOVIE IS OUT. ~deep breath~ So. Bari Weiss (because lol of course) interviewed Seinfeld recently where he said a bunch of dumb shit about how he misses a “dominant masculinity” and “an agreed-upon hierarchy.”

Agreed upon by who, Jerry? Also, you’re going to point to Sean Fucking Connery as an example of the ideal masculinity that you miss? The Sean Connery who abused his wife and publicly admitted that he slapped women and felt it was justified “If a woman is a bitch, or hysterical, or bloody-minded continually”? THAT Sean Connery? OK, can we stop talking to Jerry now, please?

Lol, some guy is suing Madonna for being exposed to sexual content in her concert and it is like, “Sir, have you never heard of Madonna? Who is this person that you thought you were going to go see?”

Can everyone stop being so weird about Caitlin Clark, please?

Can everyone stop being so weird about kid actors?

That one time Daniel Stern was working on a pilot with Jeremy Piven and Brett Rattner on a pilot for a series, and women on the set came to Stern to say Piven and Rattner were sexually harassing them, so he went to the other executive producer to give him the heads up but then the studio got mad at him for potentially causing a controversy before the show could come out and warned him not to say anything to Les Moonves (of all people) so he didn’t but the show got dropped anyway and the studio sued Stern $25 million for telling Les Moonves even though he didn’t and after spending a fortune on lawyers eventually the lawsuit was dropped and yeah, this is what Hollywood was like before #MeToo so fuck those people who insist it’s “gone too far.”

Music writer The-Dream has been sued by a former protégé for sexual battery, abuse, and trafficking.

Brandon McManus has been cut from the Washington Commanders after being sued by two flight attendants for sexual assault. Oh no, consequences!
