Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Sooooo … the aftermath of the Kate Middleton mess. Now that it’s been revealed that she’s being treated for cancer, a lot of people are expressing regret for having participated in the internet pile-on of conspiracy theories and jokes about her disappearance. The women of The View are really sorry; Blake Lively is really sorry; Leah McSweeney thinks Andy Cohen should be really sorry, but he’s unlikely to apologize anytime soon. And a Leverage star has figured out how to leverage this whole thing to talk about her own struggle with breast cancer. (I KNOW, and I’m not sorry.)
Meanwhile, Rose Hanbury, Prince William’s rumored mistress, is sending legal threats to Stephen Colbert after he joked about their ALLEGED relationship last week. See, but that’s not how our Constitution here in the United States works? But good luck with all that, Marchioness.

And more fallout from another story that broke on Friday: NBC News hiring Ronna McDaniels. All weekend long, I watched my social media feeds completely meltdown over McDaniels’ hiring — there was A LOT of screaming at MSNBC personalities in particular, as if they had anything to do with her hiring. But, it seems the complaints were coming from inside the house, too.
Chuck Todd — Chuck “Don’t Ask Hard or Follow-up Questions Because We Need to Maintain Access” Todd — went OFF on Meet the Press about his bosses at NBC hiring McDaniels, following McDaniels’ interview with Kristen Welker.

Reportedly, the interview had been booked weeks earlier and without the producers’ knowledge of her impending hiring, which just seems dirty.
Meanwhile, the head of MSNBC reportedly assured her employees that McDaniels would not be appearing on their network. This seemed to be confirmed this morning when Morning Joe co-anchors Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski assured viewers that she would not appear on their show, and called on NBC to reconsider her hiring.
Now the next question is, will the other big MSNBC personalities — your Maddows and Wallaces and Melbers and O’Donnells and Reids and Psakis — have anything to say about their bosses hiring an election-denying, Former President Philanderer flack who was so intent to keep her job that she changed her name for him? And the question after that is, and will she be able to keep this job?
Another Simpsons‘ prediction came true.
All 9,000 episodes of Jeopardy! have been announced by 95-year-old Johnny Gilbert. Congrats on 9,000, Johnny!

The Price is Right has a whole plan in place in the event a contestant pees themselves out of excitement. And now that is something you know.
The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Shannon Beador’s life is messy.
About 10% of Netflix users are still using someone else’s password somehow.

Matthew Modine is going to officiate the wedding of Millie Bobby Brown and Son of Bon Jovi. Related: Matthew Modine seems like a nice guy.
Another day, another round of Yellowstone/Kevin Costner/Taylor Sheridan drama. Today’s story is that Kevin Costner might be willing to return for a cameo in the final Yellowstone season, but that Sheridan might be unwilling to revise the scripts that have already been written. Meanwhile, the other Yellowstone stars have still not signed up for the sequel series.
While we’re talking about Yellowstone, star Forrie J. Smith found himself spending a little extra time in one of our Houston airports after being kicked off a flight when he “refused” to sit next to another passenger wearing a mask. He made a whiny video about it:
A sampling of comments on the post:
“For the life of me I cannot fathom why someone else wearing a mask is so threatening to some people. Many people live with a loved one who is immunocompromised or they themselves may be immunocompromised. OR maybe they’re not feeling well and are being considerate of others by wearing a mask to contain their germs.”
“How do you know that person doesn’t have cancer and just is going through chemotherapy treatments or something else that warrants them wearing one? Free Country.”
“You didn’t want to sit next to a mask-wearer. And now you’re not. So…”
“You’re such a crybaby. You’re threatened by a mask? Get a life.”
Couldn’t have said it better myself.
