HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SOPRANOS TO ALL WHO CELEBRATE! The first episode of The Sopranos aired on January 10, 1999, and it changed television forever, ushering in the era of the antihero, and marking the start of the Golden Age of Television. I have been watching HBO’s marathon of The Sopranos all week, and it has only affirmed my insistence that it is the best television show of all time.

It’s a work of art.
HBO has been celebrating all week by releasing a Sopranos 25th Anniversary collection on Max, “featuring 15 deleted scenes, three of which have never been released to the public. It also includes over five hours of behind-the-scenes featurette content. Additionally, every season is readily available to stream on Max at any time.”
They’ve also launched a TikTok page that recaps each episode in 25 seconds.

TV Line lists The Sopranos‘ 8 most shocking deaths, and I STRONGLY disagree with their number 1 choice. That death was coming from a long way away.
And The A.V. Club ranks the 25 best Sopranos episodes. It’s a very good list, though they mistakenly put the best episode at number 2.
Netflix is giving Wednesday its own Blu-Ray release.
Fox News’ Jesse Watters wonders if Taylor Swift is a “psyop” working with the Deep State to destroy MAGA because … ~checks notes~ … she posted the link to vote.org, helping encourage thousands of young people to register to vote. Yet another reminder to everyone out there: they are terrified you will vote which is exactly why you should do it.
The awards season is in full swing: here are the SAG Awards Nominations and the Directors Guild of America Award Nominations.
Oof, Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video are firing hundreds of staffers following Amazon’s acquisition of MGM.
Seth Meyers’ wife is a very secure woman because if my husband was out there getting matching tattoos with Dua Lipa, there would be some words.
Another woman who is a bigger person than me: Greta Gerwig for her response to Jo Koy’s stupid and sexist joke about Barbie. GIRL, THE WAY MY MIDDLE FINGER WOULD HAVE FLOWN UP HAD I BEEN IN HER SHOES …
Food Network star Darnell “SuperChef” Ferguson was arrested for two felonies and five misdemeanors yesterday for what sounds like quite the crime spree.
