Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Jensen Ackles has launched a Save The Winchesters campaign:

Producers under Duda are said to engage in bullying and verbal abuse. One employee quit after a producer “yelled and cursed at them multiple times on stage.” A production manager was observed throwing a stapler across the room, and “would speak in a way that you’re not supposed to in a professional environment—cursing, raising his voice, and throwing a huge temper tantrum,” said a former staffer.
Notably, all the staffers who told their stories to Rolling Stone insist that Kelly Clarkson has no idea the abuse is happening, and would be shocked if she found out. NBCU has refuted the report.
We have the upcoming Black Mirror episode titles and descriptions. CAN’T WAIT.
Happy 5,000 episodes, Deidre Hall!
Give The Boys all the Emmys.
First edit of this was 7 minutes long, on account of there being too much good shit to include. Season 3, For Your Consideration. #ConsiderTheBoys pic.twitter.com/aZ8p3S1KDT

This is a pretty respectable list of 27 shows to look forward to this summer.
NBCU and Amazon have struck a deal to add some local NBC news stations to Amazon’s FAST channels (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV). But not Houston.
Pure Flix and Great American Media are merging.
Reportedly, the woman that Elon Musk intends to hire to be the new CEO of Twitter is Linda Yaccarino, the chief of ad sales at NBCUniversal. And there are some indications based on who she follows on Twitter and her proximity to the former Trump administration that she might be being brought in to turn the site into a “legitimate conservative social media outlet.” Oh brother.
I don’t want to spend any more time on this irritating town hall controversy than needed, but Anderson Cooper’s attempt to defend it has me ornery.
Cooper: You have every right to be outraged today and angry and never watch this network again. But do you think staying in your silo and only listening to people you agree with is going to make that person go away? pic.twitter.com/xzVEgaGeDT

"Yes, dogshit is horrible. But if you don't TASTE it SOMETIMES, how do you know just how bad it is?"
— Ariel Dumas (@ArielDumas) May 12, 2023
This is asinine. The choice isn’t between being in a silo or watching a greedy, self-serving network platform a liar so he can demean the woman he sexually assaulted while the cherry-picked audience laughs.
Find your spine, @andersoncooper. This is disgraceful. https://t.co/q9UyeLM2yn
— The Hoarse Whisperer (@TheRealHoarse) May 12, 2023
Oh fuck off @andersoncooper . We aren't in silos or not paying attention (so condescending) n yes we know wtf is going on. We just don't believe in giving platforms n aiding n abetting ppl who encouraged an insurrection. So no, u don't "get" it. #CNNFail https://t.co/ir8ZHRlPIW
— Kathleen Madigan (@kathleenmadigan) May 12, 2023
.@andersoncooper Sir, it’s actually very simple: I want a political media that sheds light and holds nonsense accountable. CNN failed to do that last night. Not just a little bit, either. It completely failed, and you need to be honest about that. https://t.co/qBjtsvEFJV
— Charlotte Clymer 🇺🇦 (@cmclymer) May 12, 2023
I love you @andersoncooper. But that's not the choice. We hear Trump every day. His social media posts are reproduced. News stations & newspapers carry his statements & report on his every move. His followers lead the House of Representatives, and many state houses. https://t.co/vRC0Nh127K
— Sherrilyn Ifill (@SIfill_) May 12, 2023
Why not have video and screenshots of statements to check him in real time, rather than a back and forth? Why not have an audience of just registered voters in NH & compel him to present his views before a diverse audience?
— Sherrilyn Ifill (@SIfill_) May 12, 2023
The ultimate question is whether major journalism outlets recognize a responsibility to our democracy, & also recognize that they played a role in bringing us to the brink of losing democracy in 2016? Every citizen & institution has a role to play in protecting our democracy.
— Sherrilyn Ifill (@SIfill_) May 12, 2023
Also, and this is fucking infuriating: the audience was told they were only allowed to applaud, they were not allowed to boo anything Former President Rampaphobe said. Any response, Anderson?

I can see Cooper’s reasoning here. It helps to know the other side’s pov. But in learning that pov you don’t have to listen meekly and accept silently what they say. You should challenge false or misleading statements. Caitlyn Collins tried enough of that to be called “nasty.” She should have done more.
(I read that Chris Licht – who came over from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert! – wants to move CNN to the right, to appeal more to conservatives. This is not how to do it.)
