Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
The Netflix ad-supported tier will debut on November 3, and will cost $6.99 a month.
The new option will feature much of what’s available with Netflix’s current $9.99 a month Basic plan, but will include an average of four to five minutes of commercials per hour.
Those ads will be 15 or 30 seconds in length and will play before and during TV series and movies.
I’ll give you one guess as to what was the most streamed series for two weeks running. And no, it’s not House of the Dragon. It’s also not The Rings of Power. (There’s actually a math reason for this: the total number of minutes viewed applies to all episodes of all seasons of these series. The series that is currently number one has 50 episodes available to stream, which is more hours by a factor of five than either House of the Dragon or The Rings of Power. If anything, this just shows how popular those other two shows are right now, because they have fewer than 10 episodes each, and are # 2 and 3.)
If you’ve started watching or plan on watching The Watcher on Netflix, this is an interesting interview with the reporter who originally broke the story for The Cut, and over on The Cut, they provide an update to the story. Still bonkers.
Oh my god, please let Ryan Reynolds play Mac’s boyfriend on Sunny. PLEASE, TV GODS, HEAR MY PRAYER.
John Stamos wants to make a TV show about his bonkers Tiger Beat days, 10/10 WOULD WATCH. He also reveals this creepy detail:
Oh no, Ryan Murphy and Netflix are going to do a Richard “Night Stalker” Ramirez series now, aren’t they?
Succession is filming in Norway this season.

I don’t tend to take anything Rob Schneider says seriously, but I do believe that Bill Murray disliked Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, and Schneider himself. That all tracks.
Keep taking care of yourself, Brandy!
