Stop everything, we’re burying a monarch.

A balm for your mental health:

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Today’s big TV news: The funeral for Queen Elizabeth II and the end of the ten days of mourning in the U.K.

The entire nine+ hours of the funeral can be watched here if you, like your trusty blogger, did not feel like getting up at 4:30 a.m. to watch the whole thing live:

As Queen Elizabeth’s procession made it to Windsor Castle, her final resting place, her beloved Corgis were brought out to see her:

Here are a bunch of photos of the Royals, world leaders and other famous people who attended the Westminster Abbey ceremony, including Bear Grylls and Sandra Oh. Oh represented the Order of Canada; Grylls represented the Order of Grub-eating.

Speaking of the world leaders in attendance, they had to ride to the funeral in buses (but not President Biden). This created some dramaz and feels like the set-up for a Jerry Bruckheimer/Speed-like thriller.

There was a whole Queue-skipping scandal involving a pair of morning show anchors.

And Channel 5 bravely chose to air The Emoji Movie instead of the funeral.

Meanwhile, a gentle reminder that another hurricane is devastating Puerto Rico.

Reportedly, Ted Lasso has been beset with production delays because of script changes, the war in Ukraine (yes, really), and Sudeikis being a perfectionist. So we’re going to have to wait a minute for the third and possibly final season to drop.

Happy anniversary to the iconic M*A*S*H:

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Sarah Michelle Geller expressed her gratitude that NBC did not move forward with a Cruel Intentions series, because it’s not broadcast material, it’s for streaming. She’s not wrong. Also, where’s the Cruel Intentions series on Peacock? Why hasn’t that happened yet?

Apparently, there is a new Karate Kid movie in the works, but the Cobra Kai guys have nothing to do with it.

Kandi Burruss is about to become the longest-running Housewife of all time. This is a sentence that would be meaningless twenty years ago.

LESBIAN TALK SHOW HOST FIGHT.

Former Boy Meets World star Trina McGee has spoken out about her time on the show and being required to tone down her “Blackness.” She also suggests that the character of Trina on General Hospital was named for her. An interesting theory that I would like to hear more about, please.

Be careful with spray tans, kids.

People hated Thursday Night Football on Prime Video. SUCK IT UP, BUTTERCUPS, THIS IS THE FUTURE.

A quick roundup of where you might have seen SNL‘s newest hires (but probably not).

This hardly seems like the best way for Warner Bros. Discovery to spend their money if they’re so worried about cutting costs:

Kobe Bryant was supposed to cameo on Peacock’s Saved by the Bell reboot days after the horrific helicopter crash.

Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s star James “Tim” Norman, has been convicted of three counts of murder-for-hire after arranging the murder of his nephew’s and fellow Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s star, Andre Montgomery.

Bhad Bhabie, the young woman who became famous from a Dr. Phil appearance, has been asked to speak at Oxford University because nothing matters anymore.
