Hollywood is responding to the threat of Roe being revoked:
- SAG-AFTRA released a statement saying that they will “not remain silent in the face of this injudicious attack on women’s rights and health.”
- Writers Guild of America West also released a statement calling on their employers to consider the laws of each state when considering production locations.
- United Talent Agency and Amazon have both announced they will “financially support employee travel to provide healthcare for women.”
If Roe is revoked, Georgia will be able to implement its 2019 “heartbeat” rule, outlawing abortion as early as 6 weeks — which, in some cases, is before women even know they are pregnant. Back in 2019 when the law was passed, studios warned that they would have to rethink plans to film productions in the state if the law were to go into effect. As of now, no studio has said what they will do about Georgia, which is a massive TV and film hub. Time to start thinking about it, guys.
Karine Jean-Pierre will become the first Black, first openly gay person to be the White House Press Secretary when she takes over the role from Jen Psaki next week. Psaki became emotional at the announcement:
Outgoing White House press sec. Jen Psaki congratulates her successor Karine Jean-Pierre, who will be the first Black and first openly gay person to hold the position.

And on her way out, Psaki had a kinda sweet moment with her frequent target of terror, Fox News’ Peter Doocy:

Chuck Todd’s Meet the Press won’t be on MSNBC in the middle of the afternoon to ruin your news watching anymore. You’ll have to seek it out on NBC News Now beginning next month.
Bob’s Burgers inspired Moon Knight to do a pretty cool Easter egg. I haven’t watched Moon Knight yet, but now I’m intrigued! (Let’s be honest: I was intrigued at Oscar Isaac, but leaving that aside …)
People are mad at the current Jeopardy! champion, Mattea Roach, for … talking? Like, what is this?
She is brilliant That said ..Never, in all the years I've watched jeopardy have I seen someone do this type of commentary. It has me and my wife totally disgusted. Especially the .. should have parts.
