Our very own Whitney, former recapper of Supernatural and oh-so-briefly Walker before she stood up for herself and canceled that terrible show, was once on Jeopardy! and competed against none other than Ken Jennings. Her experience — which I will not spoil here because it’s a very charming story — is included here in this list of behind-the-scenes stories from people who have competed on your favorite game shows.

Speaking of, George R.R. Martin has some positive comments about the rough cut of House of the Dragon he watched, but honestly, was he going to say it sucked? That he was disappointed in what he saw? NOW PUT THE TV AWAY AND GET BACK TO WRITING, GEORGE. I SWEAR TO GOD. (All that said, House of the Dragon is definitely my most-anticipated new show of the year.)

Martha Stewart is opening her first restaurant in Las Vegas this spring, and I’m sorry, her first restaurant? How is it possible that she hadn’t already expanded her brand into restaurants by now?

Reportedly, Chris Noth was going to pop back into And Just Like That … in the finale, but now after everything that has happened, he’s been cut. (Good choice.)

Their lawsuit alleges that female employees were “disciplined or terminated female employees for being too vocal, pushy and aggressive, created a hostile work environment for women and paid women thousands of dollars less per year than their male counterparts.”

  1. I read that BuzzFeed article and didn’t realize it was Whitney on the Jeopardy item. I was on Jeopardy in the late 80s, and much of my experience was exactly as hers. Except Alex Trebek didn’t take pictures with any of the contestants after they were eliminated. Wonder if he still wore the 2 inch heels when Whitney was on.
