Super Heists: This new series explores crimes by master thieves both from their perspective and the investigators who hunted them down. Series premiere. 9 p.m., CNBC


Fantasy Island: The original Fantasy Island was my favorite show when I was 7 years old, so I’m a little skeptical of this reboot which features neither Ricardo Montalbán nor HervĂ© Villechaize but I’m willing to give it a go. I suppose. Series premiere. 8 p.m., Fox

DC’s Stargirl: Beth comes upon her parents’ secret in the season premiere. 7 p.m., The CW

Hard Knocks: They’re going to focus on the Dallas Cowboys this season. I assume there will be mixed feelings about this amongst some of you. 9 p.m., HBO


What If?: This new animated series reimagines famous Marvel moments, with different heroes involved or something. Series premiere. Disney+

Riverdale: Archie leads the charge to round up the escaped prisoners in the season premiere. 7 p.m., The CW

Superstar: This new docuseries takes an intimate look into the lives of some of our most beloved superstars, including Whitney Houston, Kobe Bryant, Robin Williams and others. Series premiere. 9 p.m., ABC

Cribs: This is where the magic happens. Series reboot premiere. 8:30 p.m., MTV

Homeroom: This documentary looks at a group of high schoolers at Oakland High School as they navigate what would already be a treacherous year of college applications and testing compounded by the pandemic and social justice issues. Premiere. Hulu


Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Amy returns from maternity leave in the much-delayed one-hour final season premiere. (Did you follow all that?) 7 p.m., NBC

Modern Love: Kit Harington, Anna Paquin and Tobias Menzies will star in the second installment of the romantic anthology series based on the New York Times column. Premiere. Amazon

Walker: Walker receives shocking news in the season finale that I could have sworn aired months ago. 7 p.m., The CW

Ex-Rated: Andy Cohen hosts this new series in which former romantic partners give their exes a formal review so they can all figure out what went wrong. Series premiere. Peacock

Star Trek: Lower Decks: Second season premiere. Paramount+

The Hype: It’s another fashion competition but this time: streetwear. Series premiere. HBO Max

Titans: Third season premiere. HBO Max


Brand New Cherry Flavor: A filmmaker seeking revenge falls down a hallucintaory rabbit hole in this new limited horror series. Premiere. Netflix

Descendants: The Royal Wedding: I assume Mal and King Ben’s wedding might be a big deal to a lot of people out there? Premiere. 8:40 p.m., Disney


Jurassic Park marathon: The first three movies, all in a row! 7 p.m., HBO

Evil Dead 2 & Army of Darkness: Or you could have yourself an early Sam Raimi marathon! Who’s laughing now? 7:35 p.m., Thriller Max


Heels: This new series starring Arrow’s Stephen Amell is set in the world of professional wrestling. Series premiere. 8 p.m., Starz

The White Lotus: Armond goes on an all-out bender and seeks revenge in the season finale. 8 p.m., HBO

The Walking Dead: Get your first look at the final season. It will premiere on AMC next Sunday. AMC+
