America’s Top Dog: All dogs are America’s top dog, Brent. Season premiere. 7 p.m., A&E

The Legend of the Underground: This documentary follows the LGBTQ activists in Nigeria and their courageous defiance in the face of a violently hostile society. Premiere. 8 p.m., HBO

Frontline: Germany’s Neo-Nazis & the Far Right: What could go wrong? 9 p.m., PBS

WEDNESDAY

Sophie: A Murder in West Cork: In 1996, a French filmmaker was murdered outside her vacation home in a small Irish town. This docuseries explores the still-unsolved crime (though there is one main suspect). (And if you’re interested, you should listen to the excellent podcast on the murder, West Cork.) Netflix

America: The Motion Picture: An all-star voice cast including Channing Tatum, Simon Pegg, Judy Greer, Olivia Munn, Will Forte, and Andy Samberg tell a very tongue-in-cheek version of the American Revolution in this animated film. Premiere. Netflix

Dragging the Classics: The Brady Bunch: RuPaul’s Queens and original Brady Bunch cast members come together for this Pride special. Paramount+

UFOs Declassified: Another special about those 9 pages!  7 p.m., Discovery, Science, Travel

The Bold Type: The future is bright for the ladies of The Bold Type in the series finale. 9 p.m., Freeform

THURSDAY

The Tomorrow War: Chris Pratt stars in this sci-fi action-adventure film as a family man who is drafted into a future war to save humanity. Premiere. Amazon

Summer of Soul: A documentary about the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival which celebrated African-American music and culture. Premiere. Hulu

Top Chef: The final three compete to be named Top Chef (and a Houstonian is in the mix!). Season finale. 7 p.m., Bravo

Top Chef Amateurs: In this new competition series, amateur chefs compete in some of the most difficult Top Chef challenges. Series premiere.  9:30 p.m., Bravo

No Sudden Move: When a simple job goes sideways, a group of criminals has to figure out what’s really going on in this new film starring Brendan Fraser, Matt Damon, Jon Hamm, Don Cheadle, and David Harbour among others. Premiere. HBO Max

Fear Street: Based on the R.L. Stine novels set in the spooky town of Shadyside, this is the first of three movies that will roll out this month. Premiere. Netflix

Let Him Go: Kevin Costner and Diane Lane star in this family drama about a pair of grandparents trying to save their grandson from a violent situation.  7 p.m., HBO

We the People: This new series features songs by Janelle Monáe, H.E.R., Adam Lambert, Brandi Carlile teaching the basics of rights and citizenship. Kinda like a School House Rock for a whole new generation. Premiere.  Netflix

Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular: Happy Fourth, everyone! 7 p.m., NBC

A Capitol Fourth: The fireworks will be live, but the performances, not so much.  7 p.m., PBS
