A Short list of things I am thankful for in this, the shittiest of years:
Obviously my family and friends, obviously, and I so desperately hope they all remain safe and healthy
The scientists who have made vaccines and kept us informed, all of the front-line health workers and other essential workers, and everyone who wears masks and respects social distancing and don’t act like big fucking babies
Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada
The abundance of good and great television (and all of the trash shows that I also love without a single ounce of shame)
And all of you — whether you check in every day for my unhinged Trump rantings or for the (very) occasional Real Housewife post. What I do here is ridiculous and unnecessary and I am deeply grateful for anyone out there who bothers to pop their head in.
I hope you all have a safe and healthy holiday and eat your weight in pie.
