It’s Tuesday, the day after Labor Day, the first day of school for a lot of us. I think this manatee reflects how a lot of us feel:
For commenter Magitroopa, here are the only other two The Masked Singer season four costumes Fox has made available, Sun, Giraffe, and Snow Owls:
That 70s Show has been pulled from Netflix, and currently doesn’t have a home, other than being available on Amazon Prime for $1.99 an episode. That’s too much to pay per episode for That 70s Show. However, it’s owned by Fox, which suggests to me it will be on Hulu soon.

Jason Mantzoukas, best known as Derek Hofstetler on The Good Place; Rafi on The League; Dennis Feinstein on Parks and Rec; and Adrian Pimento on Brooklyn Nine-Nine was trending on Twitter this weekend thanks to this Relationship Advice subreddit:

Hey, congratulations to Lily Allen and David Harbour!
Going Viral
Even asymptomatic kids who contract COVID can still develop a heart inflammatory syndrome that can cause permanent damage. WELL, GREAT. JUST THE KIND OF NEWS PARENTS WANT TO HEAR AT THE START OF THE SCHOOL YEAR.
The Olympics are going to happen next year according to the International Olympic Committee, COVID or no COVID.
David and Victoria Beckham were super-spreaders back in March, days before Tom and Rita became our first positive celebrity couple.
Also a potential superspreader event? The Toronto Film Festival which is having in-person screenings and not requiring masks. BUT WHY NOT?
Ask me how much sympathy I have for this TikTok/Instagram star who went to Rwanda, tested positive, and was forcibly quarantined by the Rwanda government. Go ahead and ask me.
So Tenet opened to a tepid $20 million here in the States. Will this make studios reconsider streaming debuts? I think the answer will lie with how Mulan did this past weekend …
The Bachelor is set to begin taping at the end of this month in ABC’s quarantine bubble.
Clare Crawley checked in on last night’s The Bachelor — The Greatest Seasons Ever!, but her segment was taped while she was in quarantine before taping her season, or her “season” (three episodes, maybe). OOH, have we considered the possibility that she just chose some guy and ended the season early because she wanted to get out of quarantine already?
#MeToo
Chris D’Elia has been accused by two more women of exposing himself to them. And in completely unrelated news, I’m sure, episodes of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast featuring Alex Jones, Chris D’Elia, and Milo Yiannopoulos seem to be missing from Spotify. HMM.
Alexander Payne has responded to Rose McGowan’s accusations that he raped her when she was 15, denying everything, but admitting that he did go on some dates with her. Rose McGowan is fully pissed now.
Tucker Carlson got his hands on some audio between Michael Cohen and Chris Cuomo which Carlson claims proves there are sexual misconduct accusations against Cuomo. Except — and I’m not a Chris Cuomo fan — I listened to the tape, and it actually is Cuomo complaining that ABC keeps getting calls from other media outlets trying to accuse him of something that never happened? I don’t know — if I were Fox News, I wouldn’t be casting stones against other networks’ anchors, especially when so far as I can tell, there’s no there there.
Cancellations
- The Venture Bros. has been canceled on Adult Swim after seven seasons.
So, as it must to all, cancellation has come for The Venture Bros. The pilot aired 17 years ago, which means the show was almost old enough to vote. It was one of the great gifts of my life & career. The fans were, quite simply, the best. Thank you, everybody. Go. Team. Venture! pic.twitter.com/MPMAvWS6Z4

However, Adult Swim has said they are looking for a way to continue the story:
We also want more Venture Bros. and have been working with Jackson and Doc to find another way to continue the Venture Bros. story.
