Brad Paisley Thinks He’s Special: Brad Paisley gets his own variety special, because why not. Celebrity Guests Include Kelsea Ballerini, Hootie & The Blowfish, Jonas Brothers, Chris Harrison, Peyton Manning, Tim McGraw, Darius Rucker, and Carrie Underwood. 7 p.m., ABC

How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming: “Hiccup and Toothless share stories of their special relationship with their respective families as they prepare for the Snoggletog Festival.” I’m sure that means something to those of you more familiar with the How to Tame Your Dragon universe. 7:30 p.m., NBC

Man vs. Bear: Three dudes compete with grizzly bears in speed, strength, and strategy. So, pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Series premiere. 8 p.m., Discovery

Vikings: The sixth season premiere follows a one-hour special, “The Saga of Floki.” Season premiere. 7 p.m., History
