No TV news, just a pile of puppies loving on one very unhappy cat and a very important poll

Storytime! This was always going to be a cute animal post, but it was supposed to be my last cute animal post in a series, not the first.

Right now, I had planned to be in a Target or a Bed, Bath and Beyond somewhere, buying items that my son will never use during his first year in college. He would have moved into his dorm yesterday and should be starting his classes on Monday, and I, right this minute, should be a sobbing mess.

But then! This asshole named Dorian decided that it would also arrive in Savannah on move-in day, so the entire city had to be evacuated and we had to push off our trip by several days. So instead of arguing with my child in the middle of some superstore in Georgia about whether or not he needs a bath mat right now, I’m on 1-10, somewhere, headed east.

I’ll be back next week — at some point — but until then, here is a pile of delicious puppies cleaning and not eating (but also eating just a little tiny bit) one very tolerant cat:

Also, another reminder that I am asking you folks which new fall show I should hate blog. If you need to learn more about the series themselves, check out all of the trailers here, and then vote in my poll below. You can vote as often as you’d like for the next three two-ish weeks:
