Penn & Teller: Fool Us: Season premiere. 7 p.m., The CW

Whose Line is it Anyway?: Season premiere. 8 p.m., The CW

Drunk History: Pour yourself a big glass of brown and tell me a story, you drunk. Season premiere. 9 p.m., Comedy Central

Wig: A documentary about the origins of Wigstock, and the drag culture it has since inspired.  9 p.m., HBO

The Lavender Scare: A look back at President Eisenhower’s administration’s decision to remove all homosexuals from government jobs in the 1950s. 8 p.m., PBS

Good Trouble: Alice tries to win Joey back in the season premiere. 7 p.m., Freeform

The Detour: The search is on for Delilah. Season premiere. 9:30 p.m., TBS

Yellowstone: A damaging article threatens to expose John in the season premiere. 9 p.m., Paramount

Beats: Anthony Anderson stars as the unlikely mentor of a gifted hip-hop artist in this original film. Netflix

THURSDAY

Alternatino with Arturo Castro: Arturo Castro, who was so charming on Broad City, gets his own series, yay! Series premiere. 9:30 p.m., Comedy Central

The Wall: Two-hour season premiere. 7 p.m., NBC

Holey Moley: An hour-long miniature golf competition. No, I’m not making that up. Series premiere. 7 p.m., ABC

Family Food Fight: Four families compete in this cooking challenge, trying to impress a panel of celebrity judges. Series premiere. 8 p.m., ABC

Spin the Wheel: A new game show that combines trivia and a wheel of fortune. Series premiere. 8 p.m., Fox

Reef Break: Poppy Montgomery stars in this drama as a former thief who is dragged into a kidnapping involving the daughter of her island’s most prominent resident. Series premiere. 9 p.m., ABC

FRIDAY

Mr. Iglesias: Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias landed his own sitcom in which he plays a high school teacher in an underperforming school. This is not made for me, but it doesn’t look like a bad entry in this particular genre. Series premiere. Netflix

Dark: Season two. Netflix

SATURDAY

Dog Day Afternoon: If you’ve never seen this classic, you should if only because it is yet more proof that John Cazale was one of our greatest actors.  7 p.m., TCM

The Evil Dead marathon: Who doesn’t need a little Sam Raimi every once in a while? 7 p.m., El Rey

Love Under the Rainbow: For a second I thought Hallmark had finally made a romantic LGBTQ movie and was going to air it for pride, but NOPE, Jodie Sweetin falls in love with Jack, the new architect in town. I don’t know what this has to do with rainbows.  10 p.m., Hallmark Channel

SUNDAY

Highwire Live in Times Square with Nik Wallenda: Nik and Lijana Wallenda will walk a tightrope over Times Square. OK. 7 p.m., ABC

Reservoir Dogs: True story: the first time I saw this, it was in a completely empty theater. 7 p.m., Epix Drive-In
