Quick show of hands: who here asked for the ‘Mad About You’ reboot?

The biggest TV news of the day is that Paul Reiser is threatening to reboot Mad About You. Which, great? I mean, it was a perfectly serviceable sitcom in its day, but is anyone actually clamoring for this? I can think of 10 NBC sitcoms off the top of my head I’d rather see come back than Mad About You, but I guess it’s time to let go of my dream of It’s Your Move ever returning.

Speaking of sitcoms I’d rather see return than Mad About You, over the holiday a photoshopped photo of that twit Tomi Lahren popped up where she blamed Obama for creating Festivus. It wasn’t real, but George Costanza still weighed in:

For the thousandth time, Andy and Anderson never dated.

If a international flight is turned around four hours into its trip and sent back to the original airport but there isn’t a supermodel with a huge social media presence on it tweeting about it, did it really happen?

Grope Report

The Miss America Organization was rocked by a huge scandal in which it was revealed that its CEO and many board members wrote disgusting and horribly sexist things about the contestants, particularly former Miss Americas. As a result, CEO Sam Haskell was suspended — and needs to be fired — and at least three other board members have stepped down.

A Trump supporter accused Corey Lewandowski of slapping her on the ass at a holiday party, and has pressed charges.

The New York Times published a report looking into the culture of sexual harassment at Vice Media, and it’s bad. Very bad.

Reportedly, NBC is now threatening to fire any employee who doesn’t report sexual harassment or doesn’t alert the brass about office relationships.

Actress Paula Guest posted an account of being raped by songwriter Joseph Brooks on SAG-AFTRA’s website.

John Oliver says that his confrontation of Dustin Hoffman left him feeling sad.

Mika really just needs to stop.

  1. I’m a little late getting around to it, but we finished The Exorcist last night and it just makes me so sad that people aren’t watching this great show. I know it’s doomed, but my wish (that I understand isn’t going to happen) is that Fox gives it one more 10 episode season to wrap up the story.
