Obviously the big TV news this morning is about The Walking Dead and who that asshole Negan killed. I will have a recap up shortly, but here are some posts about how the internet didn’t take the news well, and how the show lied and lied and lied to us to protect the reveal. I assume you know not to click the clickies if you haven’t already watched last night’s episode, right?
Here it is, footage of two major Game of Thrones characters finally meeting. And here are some more details about the scene. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some fan fic to update.
All 13 episodes of the second season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones are going to be directed by women.

Oh my God, Itchy and Scratchy did a Making a Murderer spoof.
I KNOW THIS IS NOT TV NEWS. But I don’t care. Donald Glover is going to play young Lando Calrissian and everything is good and right in the world. [heart emoji heart emoji heart emoji]
In other pretty great casting news: Adam Scott is going to come to The Good Place for a few episodes, and Chris Pratt is going to guest star on Mom to play a love interest for real-life wife Anna Faris. So that’s cute.
Oh, and Benedict Cumberbatch is going to host Saturday Night Live in a couple of weeks, with Solange as the musical guest.
Say, do you watch FOX’s The Exorcist? Because they just made a pretty huge reveal in this most recent episode. (As far as horror series go, it’s really not bad. It’s not ground-breaking or anything, but it’s plenty creepy.)
AT&T is about to buy Time Warner for $80 billion dollars.
FOX is working on Bad Sugar, a comedy from Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe and Divorce) and Patty Breen, the woman who gave us Suburgatory. Yes to this please.
In other development news:
- Hey, remember that 1992 movie Sneakers, with Robert Redford and Dan Aykroyd about computer hackers that isn’t the one with Angelina Jolie and Johnny Lee Miller? Me neither. Anyway, NBC is turning it into a series.
- Dwayne Johnson and Will Ferrell are working on a wrestling comedy together.
- ABC bought a comedy from the ladies who created Faking It over on MTV.
- NBC is developing Bonus Family, a comedy based on a Swedish series.
- ABC bought Let’s Stay Together, a relationship comedy from the guy who created Jane the Virgin and a Sex and the City producer.
Y’all, Scottie and Larsa Pippen are getting a divorce.
