Before we get started, if you haven’t already watched Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462, take 15 minutes and watch it now. Zombies + planes = NIGHTMARE FUEL.
Caught up? Great. So the chick who seemed to know AN AWFUL LOT about how all this zombie stuff works — what’s up with that anyway? — her name is Alex, and she, and her knitting buddy Jake, manage to survive the plane crash. But Jake’s not unscathed, and in fact has suffered what appear to be some pretty terrible face burns. Alex manages to haul Jake to a life raft where they are pulled to safety by three guys, hooray! But then one of the guys notices that one of the other guys has been bit and without hesitation bops him in the head with an oar, knocking him into the sea, where he will become a water zombie.
