Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

The great news is work has begun on season two of both Widow’s Bay and Pluribus. The less great news is that it’s just the writing. Neither series will be back soon.

But another series that I felt was woefully underrepresented at the Emmys, Alien: Earth, is currently filming.

American Horror Story suggests you should rewatch these episodes ahead of season 13.

American Idol is moving to Georgia.

Stephen Colbert was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night. And while he doesn’t miss doing late night — he compared it to drinking a cup of poison every day —  he hopes it continues because it’s important.

When asked if anyone from CBS called to congratulate Colbert on his Emmy, he pulled a Mariah Carey.

And in a very symbolic gesture, Colbert gifted Kimmel the Captain America shield that hung on his The Colbert Report and Late Show sets for 20 years.

Bari Weiss is in a power struggle with CBS’s president Tom Cibrowski over news coverage.

Obviously, this DOJ is siding with Paramount. That’s the whole point.

President Tantrum is closing the Kennedy Center because he’s not allowed to put his name on it. You know what? Fine. We’ll open it back up when you’re out of office. Or dead. And bitch, you better leave those bulldozers parked.

The one good thing that came from all of this is the introduction (at least to me) of Ohio Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, who has refused to step down from The Kennedy Center board, and has been the one person pushing back on this monster’s intentions.

President Turd: “I think you’re incompetent.”
Congresswoman Beatty: “I KNOW you’re incompetent.”

KEEP UP THE GOOD FIGHT, QUEEN.

Conan O’Brien is supporting a group, the State + Local Election Alliance, which gives money to overlooked campaigns for local and state offices that oversee our elections. This is genuinely important business, and the pressure point where things can go very wrong. Make a plan to vote in EVERY election on the ballot, not just the top of the ticket.
