Molly Ringwald is the latest actor to call out a castmate for being an asshole without naming names. Who on The Secret Life of the American Teenager was she talking about? (No, it wasn’t Shailene Woodley.)
Great news! You asked for it (no one asked for it) and now you’re gonna get it: Another Melania documentary!
Sesame Street is out there throwing down the gauntlet. Cue the conservative temper tantrum.
Meg Stalter and Paul Downs recreating the John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette fight that was recreated on Love Story is the most them thing they could do:
Ireland Baldwin would like to remind everyone that while whatever happened with Perez Hilton is a shame and we all hope he gets the help he needs, he made an entire brand off of torturing celebrities. So, you know. Speaking of: TikTok has understandably banned his account. It’s shocking that he was allowed to go live for 34 minutes before anyone stopped him.
Heal up quickly, Minnie Driver!
Over in the Paramount/Warner Bros. merger, there’s been some good news for David Ellison:
- The merger has been approved in the U.K.
- A lawsuit against the merger brought by subscribers has been dismissed.
- And Ellison has the backing of the chairman of Regal Cinemas, the second-largest theater chain.
But there are also some snags:
- Warner Bros. had a disappointing second quarter, and there’s already the feeling that Paramount is overpaying for the studio.
- There’s panic and anxiety at both studios, and they’re losing talent.
- And there’s some question of how long Ellison can hang on, considering the delay caused by this lawsuit brought by the states will cost him somewhere around $1.2 billion (before legal fees and appeal delays).
Thoughts and prayers.
