Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Ryan Coogler’s reboot of The X-Files has Dana Scully’s stamp of approval, SO I AM GOING TO NEED EVERYONE TO BE CHILL ABOUT IT.

Hold up, so Bill Maher IS receiving the Mark Twain Prize for Humor after the White House said he wasn’t? Honestly, I want both sides to lose, so the fact that this has turned into something of a shitshow is very funny to me.

Savannah Guthrie gave her first interview since her mother was abducted to The Today Show (obviously), and it was heartbreaking. She believes she is probably the reason her mother was taken, and she said they believe that two of the ransom notes were legitimate.

Here’s hoping the entire Guthrie family finds closure to this horrific situation soon.

Oh, and now The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is in danger, too? It sounds like the Salt Lake City district attorney is looking into whether or not Taylor Frankie Paul violated her 2023 probation in this most recent alleged domestic violence incident, and so filming on the reality show has been postponed indefinitely, possibly forever. The way all of this has played out is amazing — from the lack of vetting, to the exploitation, and the apparently missing network lawyers — and I wouldn’t be surprised if the new heads at Disney don’t decide to just cut their losses. Stay tuned.

Jessi Draper, one of the Mormon Wives, cracks the mystery of who gave TMZ that video of Taylor Frankie Paul, and it’s exactly who you think. She also got real messy about her own marital disaster.

Netflix’s inferior (but still irritatingly addictive) dating show, Age of Attraction, will have a reunion, but it’s going to be on The Viall Files podcast, not Netflix.

Buffy hurt Andy Cohen’s feefees.

I’m not sure this makes me like Ogilvie more, but it is an interesting detail.

  1. For Dash Crofts (who was from Cisco, Texas), I would suggest going to your favorite music streaming service and playing “We May Never Pass This Way (Again).” Have tissue handy.
