Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which was founded to support the government’s investment in public broadcasting and distribute funds to public stations across the country, voted to disband after 58 years to avoid becoming “vulnerable to future political manipulation or misuse.” I HATE THIS TIMELINE.

Late Night is back, and they have some thoughts about … well, everything … that has transpired since they signed off a couple of weeks ago:

Jimmy Kimmel reminds President Pudding Brains about a promise he made regarding the ratings of the Kennedy Center Honors: “He said, ‘If I can’t beat out Jimmy Kimmel, then I don’t think I should be president.’ Hey, a deal is a deal. Back to Mar-a-Lago you go.”

Kimmel also took the same cognitive test that President Frontotemporal Dementia keeps bragging about. He received a perfect result.

Stephen Colbert on who will run Venezuela: “We still don’t know for sure, but chances are it comes down to either Paramount and Netflix.”

Seth Meyers: “We invaded Iraq because of WMDs, and now we invaded Venezuela because of WDMs — wicked dance moves!”

Jon Stewart on President Obvious stating that we went into Venezuela for the oil: “Is this your first war? What the fuck?”

Also Jon Stewart: “This is all exhausting, and exposes the Gulf of America—not the body of water. The real Gulf of America is the gap between the high aspirations that embody the founding of this country and the thuggish gangsterism that this crew thinks makes us great again.”

By the way, The Daily Show has bounced back thanks to the combination of President Mar-a-Lardo and Jon Stewart.

Hey, remember how the Pentagon under that drunk Fox News talking head announced that the Pentagon press pool would have to agree to let the Pentagon approve any and all stories going forward? Yeah, CBS News gave him a three-segment interview by Tony Dokoupil and failed to push back on any of his Venezuela propaganda. Cool.

Speaking of Dokpuil, reviews of his first day as CBS Evening News anchor are in, and they aren’t great.

Hey, is the anonymous “source” claiming that the networks are clamoring for the rights to the Kennedy Center Honors despite the fact that President Low Ratings single-handedly tanked the ratings, Roma Daravi, VP of public relations for the Trump Kennedy Center, by any chance?

Mr. Show was not a satire.

Sansa was the only one who liked her ending, and that’s not unreasonable.

Don’t count on Heated Rivalry to change the NHL.

The slapfight between Disney and Sling has escalated.

No one asked for this, Michael Rapaport.

Get better soon, Bethenny Frankel.

Congratulations, Derek Hough and his wife Hayley Erbert!

Congratulations, Meghan McCain and Ben Domenech. I guess.

Happy belated anniversary, All My Children!

Brian King Joseph, a third-place finalist on America’s Got Talent, has sued Will Smith and his production company for wrongful termination and sexual harassment. It’s … messy.

Donnie McClurkin, a Grammy-winning gospel singer, has been accused of sexually abusing a young man over the course of years.

Not even a Queen is safe from sexual assault.

NFL player Christian Barmore has been charged with domestic violence.

Russell Simmons should keep his trap shut, out here attacking the mother of his children FROM BALI because he can’t come back to the United States because he’s facing so many sexual harassment, rape, and assault cases.

Royel Otis guitarist Leroy Bressington would like Reddit to hand over the names, emails, phone numbers, and IP addresses of anyone discussing allegations that he sexually assaulted minors so he can think about suing them. The courts said, “absolutely not.” In the meantime, I might suggest to Bressington’s legal team that they look into the “Streisand Effect.”

Explain to me why the Department of Justice in 2019 (the first administration) was tracking Julie Brown, the journalist who exposed the Jeffrey Epstein case, as she traveled to interview victims? Also, what’s going on with those files, yo?

Grok is creating A.I. sexualized images of minors to absolutely no one’s surprise.

If you or someone you know has experienced sexual assault, you can call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673), which routes the caller to their nearest sexual assault service provider. You can also search for your local center here
