Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Welp, we know what that tease about The Bachelorette was about now: Taylor Frankie Paul, a star of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, has been named the next Bachelorette. And yes, it will replace The Bachelor this season. (No word if The Bachelor will air in The Bachelorette‘s spring/summer slot.)
I tried watching The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, but just could not get my hands around it, but from everything I’m reading, Paul is a hot mess. But that might be just the kind of energy ABC is looking for to shake up the franchise which has been struggling for a while now. In fact, following Jenn Tran’s particularly disastrous season, ABC pulled the show from the schedule for a year. Clearly they are hoping that Paul will bring her sizeable audience from her fellow Disney reality series with her over to ABC. And don’t worry, Mormon Housewives fans, she’ll be doing both series.
I have found the one thing that Robert Kennedy Jr. and I agree on: pharmaceutical companies should not be advertising directly to consumers. That said, if they ban or otherwise limit drug ads, I’m not sure how any cable news network — or regular network — will survive these days. I suspect Fox News will get into President Remote Control’s ear about this.
Sorry, MAGA crybabies, but Whoopi and Joy aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. But keep making those fake Facebook posts claiming they’ve been fired to soothe your fee-fees, lol.
Only Murders in the Building isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. (The new season is delightful, as always, by the way.)
