I don’t know why Dana Carvey, of all people, would be the go-to source on this, but it sounds like Heidi Gardner leaving SNL wasn’t her decision. Which, honestly, I do not understand. I get why she would want to leave after eight seasons, but I don’t understand why you wouldn’t keep a core player like Gardner.
