I regret to inform you that ‘Please Don’t Destroy’ has, in fact, been destroyed, despite asking nicely

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Welcome your new (and sorta new) Saturday Night Live cast members: Veronika Slowikowska, Jeremy Culhane, Kam Patterson, and Tommy Brennan, and upgraded to featured cast from “Please Don’t Destroy” is Ben Marshall.

As for “Please Don’t Destroy,” it is, I’m afraid, destroyed. Marshall is now a cast member; Martin Herlihy is remaining on the writing staff; and John Higgins is leaving the show altogether for other acting opportunities.

Vanity Fair has a good guide to the new cast members, including videos. And a heads-up: Kam Patterson is apparently our controversial member of the season, not that SNL is going to pull another Shane Gillis. They’ve learned that lesson.

I mean, of course the NFL would be up for Taylor Swift being the Super Bowl halftime performer; it was never a question about their end of the deal, guys.

Candace Bergen’s daughter, Chloe Malle, will replace Anna Wintour as the editor-in-chief of Vogue, so it’s a good time to remind you of when Candace Bergen played Anna Wintour on Sex and the City.

FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

You’ll be able to get C-SPAN on YouTube and Hulu Live now.

The Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Karen Huger has been released from prison six months early.

Where’s the love for horror, Emmys?

This interview with Brandon Bronaugh of Hoarders is insightful, if you’re a fan of the series.

Eva LaRue opened up about her nightmare 12 years being stalked in a recent interview. People, I’m begging you: take your meds.

Oh, Cousin Greg.

Get well soon, Tiffany Brooks!
