Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Wendy Williams called into The View on today’s episode, insisting that she does not need the guardianship.
Hey, MTV? If you’ve canceled the MTV Movie & TV Awards just say so.
Ever wonder how much contestants make on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette?
Compared to The Bachelorette, contestants on Love is Blind are making bank.
Love is Blind acknowledges that the couples that work out are all anchored by “nice” guys, and they need to cast more of them. “Yeah, no shit,” says every woman everywhere.
If you watch one video today, make it this one wherein Stephen Colbert shows Gary Oldman a collection of his old roles with the Jackson Lamb treatment:

Scott Foley joked that if there were to be a Felicity reboot, it would be Cocoon Felicity because they’re all so old, but fun fact: Scott Foley is four years older than Wilford Brimley was when they filmed Cocoon.
Ghost Adventures‘ Aaron Goodwin is divorcing his wife. GEE, WHY? Apparently, they were filming when he received the call from the police informing him that his wife tried to take a hit out on him. They haven’t decided if they will include it in a show. STAY TUNED.
This article is It’s Your Move erasure, and I will not stand for it.
A reminder: soaps are a great launching pad for many young actors.
“Oscar can never be horizontal.”
Some good news: Matt Pinfield is on the mend after a stroke and coma.
Get better soon, Christopher Lambert.
PolUGHtics
I’ve tried to hide from politics because UGGGGGGHHHHHH, but I guess I can’t hide forever.
So this asshole, he’s been on a tear destroying our economy with his dumb fucking tariffs and essentially promising a recession; acting as a used car salesman after his little buddy’s stock tanked on account of being a Nazi with unfettered access to our federal government; attacking universities and students; attacking our State Department; attacking our CIA; promoting conspiracy theories; attacking our food supply; attacking our education department; attacking our climate; threatening Greenland again; deporting U.S. children with brain cancer; and making our wine more expensive. And that’s just what I can think of off the top of my head.
But there are two things that he’s done in the past week that are absolutely chilling attacks on the First Amendment:
1. He had Mahmoud Khalil, a green card-holding student at Columbia University, arrested and attempted to deport him because he was a leader of the pro-Palestinian protests at the school this past year. The administration has attempted to claim Khalil is a terrorist or a terrorist sympathizer, but they have not been able to point to any crimes Khalil has committed. Whether or not you agree with Khalil’s cause, the threat to revoke a person’s green card and have them deported because the government disagrees with them is not just a blatant violation of the First Amendment, it’s a terrifying harbinger of what could come from this fascist White House. If Khalil can be deported for protesting, any of us could. If this is allowed to happen to Khalil, any of us could be punished for disagreeing with this tyrant.
2. He signed an executive order punishing law firm Perkins Coie, stripping them of their security clearances, access to government buildings and officials, and forbidding the government from hiring the firm. This is designed to impact their ability to represent their clients, and to scare off current and potential business. The reason he targeted this firm is because two of their lawyers — who are no longer at the firm — represented Hillary Clinton and hired Fusion GPS who retained Christopher Steele of the famous Steele dossier. He’s also attacked law firm Covington & Burling because they represent Jack Smith, though not in quite as broad a way as he did Perkins Coie. He’s also has said that he has compiled a list of 15 other law firms who will be next to be investigated for the crimes of representing clients who have sought to fight his government and his illegal policies, and also DEI or some bullshit.
I have to admit my bias here: my husband is a partner at one of the firms on that list of 15. He personally has worked on cases fighting this asshole the first time around, representing people and families who were impacted by the Muslim ban, and he is actively involved in new cases now. These orders against these law firms are an attempt to intimidate people like my husband and his law firm who have dared to stand up to him by scaring off their clients and destroying their business. I know lawyers aren’t everyone’s favorite, but the lawyers and the courts are the only ones standing between us and this man’s authoritarian aspirations (because God knows the Democrats aren’t going to save us — CHUCK SCHUMER).
Both of these stories are about this White House and this Dictator on Day One testing his powers, seeing how far he can go in silencing his critics and opponents, and we must all pay very close attention to how they play out as they have grave implications for all of our freedoms.
Anyway, I’m tempted to move to Ireland with Rosie O’Donnell these days.
Lawrence O’Donnell needs to take a week off from covering the shitshow that is this administration and girl, same. Just please don’t move to Ireland with your cousin Rosie, we need you.
