DOGE cuts, among other things, have cut off funding for ongoing research into pediatric cancer.”

“For the record, I will note that Donald Trump did admit in his remarks today explicitly that Elon Musk is the Head of DOGE,” Maddow additionally pointed out. “While that comes as no surprise to anybody who’s been following the facts of this matter — that will end up in court because that is directly contrary to what the administration has overtly sworn to a federal judge about the leadership of DOGE.”

And this monster, he’s giving them plenty of material to work with, from cutting aid and intelligence to Ukraine, to imposing tariffs on our allies, to halting cyber operations against Russia, to threatening college protestors and the First Amendment, to cutting 80,000 Veterans Affairs jobs some 25% of which are staffed by veterans, to insulting our closest friends, to selling off our federal buildings, to lying about the “savings” that DOGE is supposedly finding, to overturning the convictions of the people who actually tampered in our elections, to dispersing misleading information about a deadly measles outbreak … AND THIS IS JUST IN THE PAST TWO DAYS.
