Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
It’s sounding less and less likely that the Menendez Brothers will be leaving prison after all. Elections have consequences.
James Marsden auditioned for SNL by impersonating a chicken and that’s why James Marsden has never been on SNL.
The continued commodification of an explicitly anti-capitalist piece of art is such a perfect metaphor for late-stage capitalism that I am surprised someone hasn’t made a TV show about it yet.
Max has stolen Spotify’s whole “Spotify Wrapped” thing with “Max Rewind” which shows you a recap of what you watched this year.
The Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Karen Huger is facing two years in prison for a DUI that involved a car crash.

Apparently, a megalomaniacal multi-billionaire South African is in charge of our Congress now, and some Senators are calling for it to be true literally, not just figuratively.
Speaker Musk.

After Speaker of the House Mike Johnson negotiated a last-minute bi-partisan bill to keep the government funded and open, Elon Fucking Musk said, “Nah,” and made up a ton of lies about what the bill contains. So now a bunch of Republicans are now pulling their support of the bill and we are facing a government shutdown tomorrow.
A couple of things about this: our last shutdown (which was courtesy of the Republicans because the shutdowns are ALWAYS because of the Republicans cost $3 billion (although what’s that to a man worth more than $400 billion), and abandoning the bill that was on the table would jeopardize an extension of the farm bill and $100 billion in disaster aid. Meanwhile, the man who is apparently single-handedly running the Republican party, has received billions and billions in government subsidies and contracts for his businesses, including $41.9 for Tesla and $19.8 for SpaceX.
Elon Musk was not on anyone’s ballot.

The ultimate question. On Jan 21, 2025, who gets to run the @POTUS account here and on twitter:Trump or Musk ?
Elon Musk: Doing to congress what he does to tesla drivers: trapping us inside and setting us on fire.

Elon Musk is literally everything MAGA Republicans accused George Soros of doing

Chuck Todd and other media types called ABC News out for “abandoning” George Stephanopoulos by settling with Former President Fake News-Elect, and there was some speculation on how Stephanopoulos could even stay at the network after being shivved by them. And yet … he just signed a new multiyear contract with them, so I guess they really made it worth his while.
The new deal and the high-profile settlement with President-Elect Donald Trump that was signed this weekend were handled separately, with no correlation between one and the other, a source says.
LOL, SURE.

Nancy Pelosi regrets never having hosted Saturday Night Live because she’s convinced she’s “very funny” and I do have to give it to her, this moment was funny:

And this was funny:

And this was amazing … if not exactly funny (but it was also pretty funny):
