Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

I know I’m going to have to talk more about that election at some point, but it’s probably not going to be today — he’s being awfully quiet (too quiet), and I’m in waiting and watching mode. So, instead, I offer you this post from Pajiba, listing several worthwhile organizations to consider supporting, as they are going to need our help fighting the good fight in the coming four years (at least). Also, consider supporting trustworthy media: your local paper, ProPublica, and believe it or not, Vanity Fair, Teen Vogue, and Rolling Stone are all doing good work out there, too.

Elon Musk likes to think he’s funny but had to spend $44 billion to buy an entire platform to force people to read his “jokes.” He should avoid people who are actually funny. And definitely x

HBO is once again having to deny rumors that Euphoria has been canceled. It hasn’t been. (Yet.)

The Amanda Knox Hulu series is trying to film in Perugia, where the murder took place, but the locals are SUPER PISSED because despite the fact that a different person altogether has been found guilty, many Italians still blame Knox for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher.

NBC will air an SNL 50th anniversary special on February 16. Beyond that, we don’t really know any other details.

Lonely Island wrote an SNL sketch that was too filthy for Amy Adams. (To her credit, she explained she was worried fans of Enchanted might find it and be scarred.)

AMC has fully bought out BBC America and ended its contracts with BBC Studios, which honestly, isn’t surprising as it hasn’t been showing British shows in a long while.

I’m not going to sit here and insist these are the funniest TV scenes of all time — there are so many missing series here (Arrested Development, Veep, Curb Your Enthusiasm, It’s Always Sunny) — but I do agree that these scenes are pretty funny.

TCM warns they are upgrading their operations, and it might cause disruptions in broadcasting, but I’m looking sideways at David Zaslav. This better not be another one of his schemes to kill the network.

They might be making another Star Wars film trilogy? Is … is that a great idea, guys? Maybe we should lay low for a few more decades?

Frankie Muniz limped away from a NASCAR accident this weekend, and I am suddenly reminded that Frankie Muniz is racing NASCAR for some dumb reason.

Liam Payne’s death has been ruled not a suicide by officials in Argentina, and three people have been charged with “abandonment of a person followed by death, supply and facilitating the use of narcotics.”

  1. I welcome closure to the Euphoria story, but with Angus not being there it feels incomplete and heartbreaking. Also – they will never in a million years be able to outdo themselves with “Wait. Is this fucking play about us?”
