I’m going to hang a hammock in my backyard and hope they show up:

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
I’ve been pushing scary movies on you all month long, but Decider is doing the heavy lifting here, letting you know which streamer is best for your horror needs. Looking for cult hits? monster classics? indie horror? They can send you in the right direction.
Savannah Guthrie’s contract with The Today Show is up next year, so she’s starting to play the game, clearly using Hoda’s exit as leverage. GOOD FOR YOU, GIRL.
So this is interesting: this is a list of 18 older shows and movies that haven’t aged well according to (what I assume are younger) viewers. I can understand why older people might read this and think that the complaints are whiny and “soft,” but I am actually heartened by this. It suggests to me that we continue as a culture to move further and further away from casual sexism and baked-in misogyny. Let’s hope we keep moving in that direction.
Speaking of: Cover your drinks, cover your … whatevers: Former President Adjudicated Rapist is doing a town hall on Fox News with just women.
Lea Thompson got out at the right time.
I was engaged to him.🤔#VoteBlueToStopTheStupid #crimeisactuallydown https://t.co/5xZETLtqv5

Things I didn’t know until now: Slow Horses is based on a series of books. There are 8 books in the series, but the creator of the show insists that there is plenty more material to mine in the Slow Horses universe, so it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
There is no New Girl reboot or reunion in the works for Jake Johnson to refuse to do; Lamorne Morris is just giving Johnson a hard time.
This is a good piece about why Ryan Murphy’s procedurals work where his serialized dramas do not.
It took Scully a long time to appreciate The X-Files.
Christina Hall’s divorce from this yahoo is just messy.
There will be a Leftovers reunion at ATX TV Festival next spring.
