First of all, this is a gorgeous chicken, and apparently, the most expensive breed of chicken on the market. But second of all, GOOD FOR HER.
Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Reminder that the only Presidential Debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and the Former Adjudicated Rapist-in-Chief is tonight. Who even knows what will happen … I mean, besides this ↓

And interestingly, the Disney/DirecTV dispute and blackout will be paused just for tonight’s debate. A three-hour window beginning at 8/7 p.m. will allow the debate and some post-debate coverage to air on ABC tonight for those DirecTV customers. Of course, what’s fascinating about all of this is that the debate will be broadcast on almost every network and on cable news channels, so DirecTV customers will still be able to view it (unlike last night’s Monday Night Football game or next Sunday’s Emmys) but I guess they felt this was important enough to relent a little. If I were DirecTV, I would have just replaced the current blackout message to direct viewers to go watch the debate on CBS or NBC because I’m petty like that.
I will also use this occasion to remind you to check your voter registration status (if you’re in Texas go here; if not, check out vote.org) and make a plan to vote. I know I have been harping on the need to check your status, but they are literally purging the voter rolls here in Texas. Better to know your status (and check on it frequently) than be caught flat-footed next month.
Some important dates here in Texas: October 7 is the last day to register; early voting begins on October 21; the last day to request a mail-in ballot is October 25; early voting ends on November 1; and Election Day is November 5. You can find your state’s information on vote.org.
Bachelorette Jenn has come forward in a podcast to say that her first red flag with Devin came the day after the proposal, when he asked the producers, “How long do people spend together?” I’d argue that the first real red flag was when he made her go on a GROUP RUN in HOUSTON in MID-MAY. That is evidence enough he was trying to get her to dump him.
Meanwhile, Jenn is living her best life:

Kelly Monaco’s fans are still fighting to keep her from being killed off General Hospital. Look, they’re killing her off, guys. The most you can realistically hope for is that they bring her back in a few years.

Get better, Donald Glover … or is it Childish Gambino?

GOD DAMMIT, NEIL GAIMAN. I swear, if Netflix bails on Sandman because of this …
Harvey Weinstein’s week started off well enough when the indecent assault charges against him were dropped in the U.K. But then he had to be rushed in for major heart surgery and is not doing well.

I WOULDN’T THINK THIS NEEDED TO BE SAID, BUT DO NOT ASK CHARACTERS FROM YOUR FAVORITE SHOW TO BREASTFEED YOU. The shit women are forced to deal with, my God.
So, Linkin Park replaced their lead singer, the late Chester Bennington, with singer Emily Armstrong, but then it turns out she’s a Scientologist who supported Danny Masterson during his rape trial, so oops! And, hey, Linkin Park fans? Could you not send Bennington’s son death threats because he criticized Armstrong? That’d be great.
Also, directors? You don’t get to just announce to an actress that she’s going to film a sex scene that wasn’t in the script, that’s not acceptable.
Lea Thompson has come forward to say that former Dancing with the Stars partner Artem Chigvintsev was intense and made comments about how “men are much better than women” because they’re “stronger.” He sounds like a real treat.
Hey, Sean Combs, you need to get better lawyers. Getting hit with a $100 million default judgment in a sexual assault case because you didn’t file an answer to the original complaint is some bad lawyering, my dude.
Another woman has sued Deshaun Watson for sexual assault.
James Marsters opens up about having to film a sexual assault scene in Buffy that he disagreed with and how it left him in emotional and physical pain.
Katy Perry gave a mealy-mouthed excuse for working with Dr. Luke on her new album.
One of the sexual assault lawsuits brought against Danny Elfman has been dropped due to lack of evidence.
It doesn’t bring Rebecca Cheptegei back, but sometimes there is karma.
