Macy’s 4th of July Spectacular: Mickey Guyton and Zuri Hall host the annual fireworks display from New York City. 7 p.m., NBC

Godzilla x  Kong: The New Empire: When a bunch of giant apes attack Earth, the only ones who can stop them are former enemies, Godzilla and King Kong. Streaming premiere. Max

Shark Week: If you haven’t had your shark fill via Disney, John Cena is here to host the annual sharktacular on Discovery and Max. Tonight: Belly of the Beast: Bigger and Bloodier; Jaws vs Leviathan; Makozilla; and Sydney Harbor Shark Invasion. 7 p.m., Discovery & Max

Annihilation: If you haven’t seen this eerie bit of sci-fi horror (and eerie sci-fi horror is your thing) from the director of Civil War and Ex Machina, you should check it out. 9 p.m., Showtime Women

  1. Can’t forget about my July 3rd tradition of watching Jaws (It’s on Peacock this year). “For Christ’s sake, tomorrow’s the 4th of July!”
