Maybe CBS isn’t done with ‘Blue Bloods’ after all. (Well, sorta. Don’t get too excited.)

I need a cow.

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

A spinoff of Blue Bloods appears to be in the works at Paramount/CBS. This is hardly surprising: Blue Bloods is a wildly popular series and brand for CBS with a devoted fandom that is very angry about its cancellation. The problem for CBS is that Blue Bloods is in its 14th season. The longer a scripted series goes, the more expensive it becomes to produce, mostly because of cast salaries (and then you add to that this series came loaded with a couple of big stars to begin with). A spinoff allows CBS to hang on to some part of that Blue Bloods audience but with a largely new, less expensive cast, and an opportunity to refresh the brand and their schedule. It will be a win-win … except maybe for Tom Selleck fans.

I was really excited about Rob Thomas’ involvement in the upcoming ABC series High Potential — he’s the genius who gave us Party Down, Veronica Mars, and iZombieso to learn he’s dropping out as showrunner is A HUGE BUMMER.

Maverick Television, the production company behind Chrisley Knows Best and Barbecue Showdown, is being shut down by its parent company All3Media.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson is teasing some sort of Modern Family … something. Movie? Reboot? My money is on a reunion.

Imagine being an actor portraying a gay teen on a popular TV show and being told that you shouldn’t come out as gay yourself because you’ll hurt your career. It wasn’t all that long ago, either.

I’m telling you, they’re going to recast The Real Housewives of New Jersey. It’s just a matter of time.

The only restaurants on this list that sound remotely interesting to me are the two Top Chef-related joints. All the Vanderpump Rules/Summer House places can take someone else’s money.

Miranda Derrick, the main subject of the Netflix documentary, Dancing with the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult, says that, in fact, she’s NOT in a cult. So that should clear that all up.

Jonah Hill was nearly Beavis. (Thank goodness it didn’t work out.)

Keeping Christina Applegate in my thoughts, and hoping she can find some peace in her journey.

Congratulations to Eboni K. Williams!
