Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Netflix is suddenly becoming a lot more transparent with its viewership numbers, and is promising to release such a report twice a year. According to Netflix, they are revealing the numbers for every title — original and licensed — that was watched for more than 50,000 hours over a six month period. This accounts for 99% of their titles. While this is clearly in response to the writers’ demands for more transparency on the part of streamers so to better determine residuals, Ted Sarandos claims this has NOTHING to do with the strike and has been in the works for a while. OK, sure.
Entertainment Weekly has the full report which places The Night Agent at the top of the heap.
Watchmen was briefly and supposedly accidentally pulled from Max the other day and BOY, YOU BETTER WATCH YOURSELF, ZASLAV.
Todd Chrisley claims he’s being blackmailed in prison.
TV fans reveal the 14 shows that were canceled on a cliffhanger, and I’m still mad about 1899.
We’re all relieved Stephen Colbert is feeling better.

R.I.P.
Andre Braugher, Emmy-award-winning actor known for Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Homicide: Life on the Street, Glory and others. His final project, The Residence, remains unfinished. This one hurts.
Joint statement from Brooklyn Nine-Nine writer executive producers:
“Like everyone who was fortunate enough to know Andre, we are heartbroken by the news of his passing. He was one of the most talented dramatic actors in history, and then he decided to try comedy, and he was instantly one of the funniest people ever to do it. But even greater than his acting talent was the happiness and joy he brought to those around him. And his smile… he had the greatest, brightest, most wonderful smile. Our thoughts and love go to his beautiful, amazing family, whom he loved more than anything. We are grateful for the time we had with him.”

Melissa Fumero also shared this photo of Captain Holt’s desk and now I’m crying again.

Andre Braugher. God.
I've worked with a lot of wonderful actors. I'll never work with one better.
Stunned and thinking of Ami and his sons and so many memories of this good man that are now a blessing. But too damn soon.

From the HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREET pilot. Our first real look at the mercurial Frank Pembleton, played so magnificently by Andre Braugher. May he rest in peace. I’ll likely be posting more of his standout scenes from Homicide in the coming days. He’s a legend. pic.twitter.com/RY2WqIcX67

Sad. I got to know Andre a little while doing the Brooklyn Nine-Nine pilot. He was a kind, thoughtful, supremely talented person. The way he and Andy’s opposite approaches to acting baffled & then slowly influenced each other was a magical dynamic that was the heart of the show. https://t.co/j8Mvu86w8T

I can’t stop crying. I have so many wonderful things to say about this amazing man who was so immensely talented and kind to me. So many of my favorite moments editing and directing were because of him. Gone way way way too soon. My heart aches for his family and friends. https://t.co/HA3IuJBs2U

It makes me feel better to gush about him. Several members of the crew once told me they’d never seen someone smile as much as me when I was discussing Sex and the City at length over a long lunch on an empty set with Andre. My cheeks actually hurt.

This is impossible for me to process. He was best actor in the world. An incredible human being. An incomprehensible loss https://t.co/778v5NGNI4

What an incredible loss. An absolute titan. Hearing this man speak words that I wrote was an absolute high point of my career. https://t.co/nN2vGGOJOD

Andre Braugher was the actor that others in the profession would always aspire to be. In addition to his prowess as a dramatic actor, his comedy chops were also on full display as the determined and passionate Capt. Holt in ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine.’ We will miss him tremendously. pic.twitter.com/doQYmMTYjj

Statement from Fox Entertainment:
“Everyone at Fox is devastated by the sudden loss of our friend and colleague, the incredibly talented Andre Braugher. He will most certainly be remembered for his iconic comedic and dramatic roles across both film and television, but he will be remembered mostly for his big heart, kindness and the lasting impact he made on his friends, family and fans everywhere. Andre was the heart and soul of the Nine-Nine and will forever be our Captain. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Andre’s family and loved ones at this time.”
We are saddened to hear of Andre Braugher's passing. Best known for 'Men of a Certain Age' & 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine,' he was a dynamic performer in drama & comedy. He will be deeply missed. Our condolences to his family & friends. #SagAftraMember since 1989 https://t.co/AMdUVzri9Z

RIP #andrebraugher One of my favorite memories of him was one day on set, he was like I follow you on Twitter – you’re funny. I said, “oh what’s your handle so I can follow you too.” He said, “No. I like it that you don’t know it’s me.” We both fell out. He was a good man.

One of my other favorite memories was me, him and Terry Crews talking on set. He was so warm with us and then when a white person would walk by, he’d look serious again. He then leaned in and said “Gotta keep ‘em on they toes.” Again, I fell out! RIP #andreBraugher
