Stranded with My Mother-in-Law: In this (I think) Brazilian game show, individuals are stranded on an island with their mothers-in-law to compete for a life-changing prize. BRILLIANT. BRING THIS TO THE STATES. Premiere. Netflix

The Silence of the Lambs: They follow it up with Hannibal, but that’s wholly unnecessary. 7 p.m., HBO

TUESDAY

No Accident: This documentary follows the civil lawsuit filed against the white nationalists who led the “Unite The Right” rally in Charlottesville, which led to the deaths of peaceful counter-protestors. Premiere.  8 p.m., HBO

Press Your Luck: Season premiere. 9 p.m., ABC

The Last Drive-in with Joe Bob Briggs: Halloween: Joe Bob hosts us through one of the true classics. AMC, AMC+, Shudder

Astros at Twins: Game three of the ALDS. LET’S GO ‘STROS. (And I’m going to just overlook that the MLB gave the primetime game to the Texas Rangers BUT WHATEVER.) 3:07 p.m., Fox

Archer: Archer and the gang try to stop killer drones in the series finale. 9 p.m., FXX

Big Vape: The Rise and Fall of Juul: This docuseries explores the rise of a vape company that lost it all in the pandemic. Series premiere. Netflix

Messi Meets America: Lionel Messi’s arrival to play in the MLS is told in this documentary. Premiere. Apple TV+

THURSDAY

Fall of the House of Usher: Mike Flanagan’s latest horror project for Netflix is a twisted take on Edgar Allen Poe and I can not wait. Series premiere. Netflix

Frasier: In this reboot, Frasier Crane moves back to Boston, but I doubt the Cheers bar will be making an appearance. Series premiere. Paramount+

House of Villains: 10 reality show villains live together under one roof in this new competition series, and I don’t know why it took someone this long to make this very obvious show. Series premiere. 9 p.m., E!, Syfy, Bravo, USA

Transplant: Mags struggles to save a patient in the season premiere. 8 p.m., NBC

Monster Inside: America’s Most Extreme Haunted House: This documentary explores the story of McKamey Manor, the most extreme haunted house ever, and its completely demented creator, Russ McKamey. Premiere.  Hulu

Lessons in Chemistry: Brie Larson stars as a 1950s scientist who having been fired from her lab takes a job as a cooking show host and encourages overlooked housewives to challenge everything. Series premiere. Apple TV+

Goosebumps: Revival of the youth horror series inspired by R.L. Stine’s books. Series premiere.  Hulu, Disney+

Creepshow: Season four premiere. Shudder, AMC+

The Burial: Jamie Foxx and Tommy Lee Jones star in a film based on a true story about a funeral home director who turns to a smooth-talking lawyer when a deal goes sour. Premiere. Prime Video
