This made me laugh way too hard for what it is.

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Breaking Bad‘s finale aired 10 years ago (HOW?!) and Vince Gilligan gave Variety an interview to discuss the show and its legacy. He spoke on how he does not want a sequel featuring Walt Jr. following in his father’s footsteps, calling the idea “depressing as hell”; he lamented the way the fans treated Anna Gunn and Skylar; he discussed his upcoming series starring Rhea Seehorn which will be “mild science fiction” (!!!!! for those who don’t know, Gilligan made a name for himself on The X-Files). But the most surprising thing for me from this interview is that he admits that when they wrote the final season, they had no idea how it was going to end:
It was the dumbest thing I ever did. I was like, “Let’s start off this season with a bang.” It’s Walt’s 52nd birthday, let’s do the thing with the bacon and he’s all alone in a Denny’s. And he looks like hell. He looks like the Unabomber. What’s he at a Denny’s for? Well, he’s buying a machine gun, of course! It was self-evident that Walt’s story should not end well, so the idea of him looking like the cancer had returned felt right. But you just kind of feel your way through. We didn’t know where it was going. It’s astounding how little we knew. There was a little bit of hubris on my part thinking we would figure it out. “We’ve got 16 episodes until the end. We’ll get there!” We were still six or seven episodes away from the end and we still hadn’t figured out where we were going with the machine gun.
WHAT? HOW CAN THAT POSSIBLY BE?
Collider is asking why a UFO docuseries is so popular on Netflix and, duh, it’s because it’s really good. If you haven’t checked out Encounters yet, I recommend it. It’s only four episodes long, it’s very intelligent, calm and serious and the second episode is remarkable.
A Jeopardy! contestant asked Katie Couric for a favor and she obliged:
You can now book a Love is Blind package at the Mexican resort where they film and reenact JP and Taylor’s breakup over makeup. No word if golden goblets are included.
James Austin Johnson and Sarah Sherman got promotions on Saturday Night Live.
Timothy Olyphant girlishly n flirtatiously tucking his hair behind his ear n saying "BY THE WAY the HOMOSEXUAL undertones – maybe they're overtones here" about what he n Walton Goggins cooked up for Boyd and Raylan's relationship on Justified…. I've never been calmer pic.twitter.com/dzcCwZ8ima

In the filing, Chad Bowman and other attorneys for the coalition wrote that “the prosecution of a former President, now a presidential contender, on charges of subverting the electoral process, presents the strongest possible circumstances for continuous public oversight of the justice system.
They added, “That oversight, rooted in decades of First Amendment precedent and sound judicial policy, will be functionally illusory without audiovisual access to these proceedings. Through counsel, Trump has repeatedly spoken out about the importance of cameras in the courtroom in this case. For his benefit, and that of the Court and the public, real-time audiovisual coverage will be a critical step in stemming false conspiracy theories across the entire spectrum of public opinion, regardless of the trial’s outcome.”
I’m of two minds here: of course I’d watch every second of this, no chance I’d miss a minute. But my curiosity aside, there is genuine value in broadcasting a truly historic moment: a former President of the United States being tried for trying to overthrow an election. Also, there is value in showing all of the cards to help discourage and dispel conspiracy theories and lies which his followers love to wallow in.
On the other hand, there is nothing that narcissistic black hole loves more than attention, good and bad, and there is not a chance he wouldn’t attempt to turn the whole thing into a spectacle for the cameras. The media circus would be unparalleled. Additionally, adding cameras would make what will already be a difficult job of keeping the jurors safe unimaginably harder. I guess we wait and see.
Meanwhile, over on Fox News, Greg Gutfeld is saying that elections don’t work and that we need a civil war to punish his political enemies, so that’s … not great.
Greg Gutfeld says "elections don't work" and "society is in peril and chaos because our elections don’t matter" while urging for a new American civil war.
In the following tweets, I will transcribe everything he says in this clip, because it goes into some very dark territory. pic.twitter.com/2FLCz5ptCP

Not Welcome to Flatch! It was one of the sweetest shows on TV. Why do these companies always cancel shows just as they are finding their footing?!
