Your new ‘Real Housewives’ drama has everything: divorce rumors, country singers, celebrity mediums … KNOW THAT!

Team Sea Otter.

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Now that #Scandoval has blown past, we have a brand new Real Housewives-related SCANDAL! Real Housewife of Beverly Hills OG Kyle Richards is separated from her husband of 27 years, Mauricio Umansky. They insist they are not getting divorced. Yet.

Now, for those of you not embroiled in Real Housewife nonsense, you might look at this and be like, “I don’t know, 27 years is a respectable run for any Hollywood types.” But this is BIGGER than that. Kyle and Mauricio were one of the most solid pairs on these shows. They had a beautiful family, a fun-seeming marriage, they seemed to really like each other — they truly seemed to have it figured out

But! Real Housewives fans will also remember that in season one of the show, Camille Grammer hosted a dinner party, and invited her friend, celebrity medium Allison Dubois, who had some grim predictions for Kyle’s marriage:

And it only took ten years but here we are.

As for what happened between Kyle and Mauricio, they’re not saying and I’m not going to spread idle, unsubstantiated nonsense here. (Google Morgan Wade.)

And now some tweets that no one will care about except RHOBH fans:

THE BEAR. UGH. SO GOOD. I could write an entire boring essay about the brilliance of this show and this season in particular, but it wouldn’t possibly do this show justice. I don’t want to spoil any of the amazing reveals — it’s truly something you need to experience for yourself. (Spoilers in that link, y’all.) If you haven’t already devoured season two (pun absolutely intended) — and it looks like a lot of y’all have — THEN GO WATCH IT. RIGHT NOW. DO IT.

Regarding the news about Wheel of Fortune‘s new host (see below in CASTING), James Holzhauer made all of us relive the Jeopardy! debacle:

CNN is looking to put more content and live news on Max.

LOL, you can watch the first episode of Silo on Twitter … if you haven’t exceeded your 600 tweets yet.  RELATED: Elon! What a fucking putz, amirite?!

No, Daniel Radcliffe is not returning to the Harry Potter world, stop being weird about it.

Chris Meloni is out here being slutty again:

Which TV show do you wish was available to stream? (It’s Your Move.)

Y’all should be watching Claim to Fame.

General Hospital‘s Haley Pullos has been charged with a felony DUI after her near-fatal crash a few months ago.

#MeToo

Boy, this Jonathan Majors story is getting messy. So … Rolling Stone published a piece that looked into past allegations of Majors being abusive in relationships and on sets, dating back to his Yale days, and found more than 40 people who were willing to attest to the behavior. His lawyers provided character witness statements from 6 women Majors had been close to or dated … except three of them said they had not given Majors permission to release those statements, another said that she did not write the statement and it was not truthful, one refused to respond, and the only woman to corroborate the statement was his high school girlfriend.

Before the Rolling Stone story came out, Majors’ lawyers were doing some major astroturfing, pitching stories that his “abusive” behavior on set was just “Method Acting;” that the domestic abuse case that he is being prosecuted for in New York is really just a white woman and the NYPD targeting a Black man and ACTUALLY, he was really concerned for her well-being; and now the NYPD has ample evidence to arrest his accuser. Oh, and he’s pulling a Johnny Depp, and filing legal claims against his accuser, arguing that he was really the one who was abused.

As this Pajiba piece clearly lays out, all of these stories can be traced back to Majors’ lawyer, and the New York prosecutors seem to be moving forward with their case against Majors. So, be careful with what you are reading out there.

Let’s move on to The Idol, and then never speak of it again. I finally got around to watching the finale and … just … woof. After four episodes of The Weeknd abusing, sexually assaulting, and manipulating the protagonist, Joss, the big reveal is SPOILER ALERT: she was the real manipulator, and he was the real victim. Just look at this misogynistic garbage disguised as “female empowerment”:

“I think a lot of the audience will watch maybe the first few episodes and think that this guy is taking advantage of her,” Depp said in a segment about the making of the finale. “By the end he realizes that she knows exactly what he’s doing and she knows exactly what she’s doing.”

“Jocelyn is a very calculated and strategic person. She knows exactly what she wants and she’ll stop at nothing to get it,” Depp explained. “Tedros was her muse and that she got what she needed out of him.”

Creator Sam Levinson offered further insight, saying: “Throughout the season, Jocelyn has been searching for inspiration. She’s looking to go to an uncomfortable place, and it’s just ultimately looking for that next song, that next album. Tedros becomes the conduit for that creative unlocking.”

Jocelyn “needs to devour those around her to feel like she has something to say,” Levinson said, adding that Tedros has actually “become the victim.”

So basically: “Women need to be abused to release their power and creativity, and when you think about it, they are the ultimate manipulators, forcing the poor innocent men to sexually assault and humiliate them.”

YEP. VERY FEMINIST. MUCH HEALTHY. SUPER COOL. GOOD MESSAGE.

Da’Vine Joy — who was one of the only two saving graces in the entire series — defends The Idol and insists that it wasn’t a toxic working environment. OK, but I saw what I saw.

Also, explain to me like I am five how filming — improvised — rape scenes that are so disturbing that they weren’t used in the show doesn’t contribute to a toxic work environment.

I mean, I hate to agree with the Parents Television Council about ANYTHING, but here we are. Please cancel this garbage, no one wants a season two.

ALSO — and this has nothing to do with misogyny — BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS SCENE?

Alright. I’m done with that. Let us never speak of this again.

Disney might be about to face a $150 million class action lawsuit over pay disparity and gender discrimination.

I’m super bummed to learn that there were allegations of bad boss behavior on the set and in the writers’ room for The Other Two. Just … don’t be assholes, guys. Why is that so hard?

That Jeremy Clarkson piece about Meghan Markle where he fantasized making her do the naked shame walk was deemed officially sexist by the U.K.’s media watchdog, the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO). You don’t say.

France’s highest court has dismissed rape charges against director Luc Besson.

Tenoch Huerta has left the cast of the Netflix film Fiesta en la Madriguera amid allegations of sexual assault.

French actor and director Nicolas Bedos has been arrested for sexually assaulting a woman at a nightclub.

Kevin Spacey’s trial is underway in the U.K. where he’s facing 12 counts of sexual assault. The prosecutor says Spacey, “sexually assaults other men, a man who does not respect personal boundaries or space, a man who it would seem delights in making others feel powerless and uncomfortable, a sexual bully.”

John Griffin, a former CNN producer, has been sentenced to more than 19 years for sexually abusing a minor.

Former NBC and CNN executive Michael Bass has been sued for sexual assault by a former intern.

Emile Hirsch is sorry for that one time when he sexually assaulted a Paramount executive at Sundance.

Danielle Fishel now recognizes how awful adult men were towards her as a teenager and is grossed out. Adding to this, the actress who originally was hired to play Topanga on Boy Meets World says she was fired because the director didn’t think she was “pretty enough.”

If you haven’t wanted to pluck your own eyeballs out by now, here’s that story about the Former Chief of Ick openly talking about his daughter’s body and fantasizing about having sex with her. Four more years!

This isn’t really “#MeToo”-ish in the strictest sense, but please stop throwing shit and assaulting performers during their concerts and do not give them your dead mothers’ ashes. Adele has warned you.
