Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Hi! So I have some family issues to deal with today, but I’m not going to post some cute animal videos and be done with it. Instead, I’m going to leave you with a bunch of stories about The White Lotus, since it’s been a full week since the finale aired, and I can’t be held responsible if you get spoiled anymore. I’ll be back tomorrow!

Creator Mike White discusses the finale and why he killed THAT character. I fully didn’t think he would go there — because he brought her back. But that’s exactly why he killed her. Clever. White also describes the fate of the two couples as a “happy ending although there’s dark clouds on the horizon too.” Indeed.

As for season three, White says, “I think the third season would be maybe a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus.”

But as for season two, we still have some unanswered questions.

Warming Glow points out how White set up the villain of White Lotus last season.

Here, the character who I thought would be the murderer discusses how he and Mike White deliberately worked to mislead us.

So did they do the deed? Will Sharpe suggests it’s up to interpretation; Meghan Fahy is convinced they did.

As for Cameron and Harper, Aubrey Plaza reveals what she thinks happened.

Simona Tabasco believes that Lucia was in love with Albie, but I’m not so convinced.

Everyone is discussing who should return in season three. (My vote: DAPHNE. OR — EVEN BETTER: Tanya’s identical twin sister. But chances are it will be Greg.)

Here, Collider discusses how the second season fixed the underlying problem of season one, by making the local characters more of a voice.

Variety argues that The White Lotus was the best show of the year. (I’m not sure I’m ready to go that far, but it definitely was one of the 10 best.)

By the way, the cast of the show spoiled the ending back in November and no one noticed.

Everyone wants to go to Sicily.
