Gunpowder Milkshake: I mean, just look at this cast of badass women playing assassins: Lena Headey, Angela Basset, Carla Gugino, Michelle Yeoh … that’s reason enough to watch this candy-colored action film, right? Premiere. Netflix

A Classic Horror Story: Strangers traveling through Italy get stranded in the woods and struggle to make it out alive in this new horror film.  Netflix

Heist: In this new docuseries, people almost get away with the perfect crimes. (Almost.) Series premiere. Netflix

THURSDAY

Dr. Death: The very simple fact is I will watch anything Joshua Jackson is in, and the fact that this limited series is based on a great true-crime podcast is just icing on the cake. Series premiere. Peacock

Never Have I Ever: Season two finds Devi trying to date two boys at once. Season premiere. Netflix

The Outpost: A mysterious assassin seeks revenge in the season premiere. 8 p.m., The CW

Making the Cut: Season premiere. Amazon

Fear Street Part 3: 1666: The third and final movie in the R.L. Stine trilogy. Premiere. Netflix

SurrealEstate: This new series follows a team of real estate agents who fix haunted and possessed houses before putting them on the market. I wish this were a crappy reality series, but, alas, it’s scripted. Series premiere.  9 p.m., Syfy

SATURDAY

The Empty Man: A bunch of dumb teenagers summon a supernatural specter and make trouble, as dumb teenagers are wont to do. 7 p.m., HBO
