Hillbilly Elegy: Amy Adams and Glen Close star in Ron Howard’s adaptation of the best-selling memoir of the same name. But note: the reviews of this have been spectacularly bad, some calling it Howard’s worst movie ever. Netflix

Happiest Season: Kristen Stewart stars in this holiday movie about a woman whose plans to propose to her girlfriend go awry when she realizes her girlfriend has not come out to her conservative family yet. Also in the cast: Alison Brie, Dan Levy, Victor Garber, Mary Steenburgen, Aubrey Plaza, and Ana Gasteyer. Hulu

Porno: And if wholesome holiday fun isn’t your thing, in this campy horror-comedy, a group of movie theater employees watch an old porno film and inadvertently release a sex demon.  Shudder


Saved by the Bell: Bayside High is back in this winking reboot. Series premiere. Peacock

Women of Worth: NBC celebrates 10 women who have done exceptional work bettering their communities. 7 p.m., NBC

The Mystery of D.B. Cooper: A look at the unsolved case of the mysterious man who hijacked a plane and then parachuted away with a $200,000 prize back in 1971. 8 p.m., HBO

Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving Special: SNL‘s best Thanksgiving skits all in one place. 8 p.m., NBC


Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade: There will be balloons, and there will be performances, but there will be no actual parade, not like how you think of a parade with spectators and a route and all that. Weird times, man. 9 a.m., NBC

The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration: A look back at performances and moments at Disney World. 8 p.m., ABC

The Flight Attendant: Kaley Cuoco stars as a flight attendant who wakes up one morning next to a dead man and no memory of what happened. Series premiere. HBO Max

Superintelligence: Melissa McCarthy stars as a woman whose normal life is turned upside down when she’s chosen to be observed by artificial intelligence that could potentially take over the world in this new film. HBO Max

Texas 6: This docuseries follows a high school six-man football team from Strawn, Texas, as they go for a three-peat in the 6-Man Football State Championship. Series premiere. CBS All Access


Black Beauty: A teen girl and a wild horse forge an unbreakable bond in a remake of the classic story. Premiere. Disney+
