I know it doesn’t sound like much, but this video of animals using a log as a bridge is oddly soothing in trying times

Hello, friends, and welcome to Memorial Day, a day to remember the sacrifice so many have made for our country and freedom, and the unofficial start to summer, as if that means anything anymore.

There’s not actually much TV news out there right now, so I’m going to “take the day off.”

— wait, hold on —

I’ll be back tomorrow with whatever news I can find, and in the meantime, I’m going back to work on my Lost project.

And you know me, I never leave you empty-handed. But instead of my usual cute animal video, I offer you this soothing and fascinating video of a log over a Pennsylvania creek, and all the animals that use it as a bridge over the course of a year.  There are turkeys, ducks, bobcats, coyotes, and bears. Many bumbling bears. They’re my favorite.

And here’s a bonus video of a very good bear wandering around a California suburb. We love bears!
