Bill Murray marathon: Everyone loves Bill Murray.  Stripes, Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters 2 p.m., Sundance

The English Patient: The moment when I fell in love with Naveen Andrews — long before Lost. 5:55 p.m., Showtime Showcase West

Stranger Things: SEASONTHREE. Netflix

Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular: Luke Bryan, Khalid, Maren Morris, and Brad Paisley perform. 7 p.m., NBC

Star Wars marathon: You could just spend all day inside rewatching the Star Wars movies. I won’t judge you.  9:50 a.m., TNT

The Hunger Games marathon: Because. 8 a.m., Paramount Network

Idiocracy: Because. 8 p.m., Viceland

Bohemian Rhapsody: The Freddie Mercury biopic that earned Remi Malek his Oscar. 7 p.m., HBO

The Movies: CNN looks at American film over the course of several decades, and begins with the 80s, for some reason. Season premiere. 8 p.m., CNN

Evel Live 2: Some idiot recreates more of Evel Knievel’s stunts. What must his mother think …  7 p.m., History

One thought on “‘Stranger Things’ and everything else you don’t want to miss on TV this week. (Which is not much, frankly.)

  1. THURSDAY: Macy’s Fireworks. You mention this but not Donald’s celebration on the Mall? There will be tanks. TANKS!

FRIDAY: Idiocracy. This is seeming more and more like a future documentary.

(Glad you’re back. Hope you enjoyed the down time.)
