America’s Got Talent: I’m actually advising against watching tonight, as this is just a “best of the auditions” episode. The more you know. 7 p.m., NBC

WEDNESDAY

The Last Czars: This look at the Romanov family is part period drama, part documentary.  Netflix

The English Patient: The moment when I fell in love with Naveen Andrews — long before Lost. 5:55 p.m., Showtime Showcase West

THURSDAY

Stranger Things: SEASONTHREE. Netflix

Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular: Luke Bryan, Khalid, Maren Morris, and Brad Paisley perform. 7 p.m., NBC

Star Wars marathon: You could just spend all day inside rewatching the Star Wars movies. I won’t judge you.  9:50 a.m., TNT

FRIDAY

The Hunger Games marathon: Because. 8 a.m., Paramount Network

Idiocracy: Because. 8 p.m., Viceland

SATURDAY

Bohemian Rhapsody: The Freddie Mercury biopic that earned Remi Malek his Oscar. 7 p.m., HBO

Harry Potter marathon: It begins with Half-Blood Prince, so it’s more of a mini-marathon, but you know. 12:23 p.m., USA

SUNDAY

The Movies: CNN looks at American film over the course of several decades, and begins with the 80s, for some reason. Season premiere. 8 p.m., CNN

Evel Live 2: Some idiot recreates more of Evel Knievel’s stunts. What must his mother think …  7 p.m., History

  1. THURSDAY: Macy’s Fireworks. You mention this but not Donald’s celebration on the Mall? There will be tanks. TANKS!

    FRIDAY: Idiocracy. This is seeming more and more like a future documentary.
