One Mississippi: Tig Notaro’s dramedy about a woman who returns to her Mississippi Gulf Coast home after her mother’s death is lovely and moving and often hilarious. Series premiere. Amazon

Quarry: After returning home from the war, a Vietnam vet slides into a life of crime in this gritty new drama. Series premiere. 9 p.m., Cinemax

Stand Up to Cancer: A bunch of celebrities spend a whole hour standing up to cancer. That should do it. 7 p.m., ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC

Animal ER: Hey! This new series takes place at Houston’s Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, and they operated on my dog this one time! Series premiere. 9 p.m., Nat Geo Wild
