Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Production on Tomb Raider had to be paused when Sophie Turner “experienced a minor injury.” YOU BETTER BE CAREFUL WITH THE QUEEN IN THE NORTH.
The Love Story producers are trying to defend the way that Daryl Hannah’s character is portrayed in the limited series, but she’s the one who has to live with the consequences.
Not every show needs to have a romantic subplot, guys.
Y’all were really excited to watch that Harry Potter trailer. I’m not surprised, but it is notable.
This whole Howie Mandel/Kelly and Mark thing is so weird. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, Mandel was on Live with Kelly and Mark! last week and when they complimented him on looking good for his age, he sorta jokingly snapped back that they were offering him a backhanded compliment. This, for some reason, blew up and was all over TV news sites. Every damn source I use was reporting on this for days, to which I said “WHY?”
BUT GOOD NEWS: Mandel’s now apologized, saying that his joke backfired. And I gotta say, I watched the clip, it didn’t seem that bad to me, he’s was clearly joking with them, albeit a little aggressively. Are we really this desperate for “news”?
Apparently we are because while we’re on the topic, Andy Weir is the writer of Project Hail Mary, which has done great in the theaters this week. He apparently went on a podcast where he revealed that he pitched a Star Trek show idea to Star Trek EP Alex Kurtzman that Paramount declined. He then called the new Star Trek series “shit,” while clearly joking that he was only doing so because they didn’t accept his pitch. He’s now written an open apology because people don’t understand sarcasm or tone.
It’s unlikely, but I still think it would be really funny if the Bridgerton team gave season six to Hyacinth and continued pushing Eloise’s story off until the bitter end.
For the umpteenth time, we don’t need to reboot every show that was ever on the air.
Kim Novak is not happy about Sydney Sweeney (‘s boobs) being cast as her (boobs).
Meanwhile, Nick Cannon and Chilli could learn a little something from Josh Duhamel.
You’re getting the award, Bill, you don’t have to suck up anymore.
Anderson Cooper is not interested in President Can’t Read’s attack on folks with dyslexia.
No, really, we are being run by clowns.
Nikki Glaser is “short on short jokes” and won’t be participating in the Kevin Hart roast.
“Gen Z Wants a Physical Media Comeback and We’re Rooting For It” (Strong agree.)
Hoping Tiger Woods gets the help he needs.
