TUESDAY

R.J. Decker: Scott Speedman stars in this new series based on a Chris Hiaasen novel as a former newspaper photographer turned private investigator working in the wacky world of South Florida. Series premiere. 7 p.m., ABC

NCIS: Knight is ordered to hunt down and arrest Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop, who has been designated a cyber terrorist in the winter premiere. 7 p.m., CBS

NCIS: Origins: Gibbs and Diane contemplate their future after their drunken Vegas elopement. Winter premiere. 8 p.m., CBS

NCIS: Sydney: The team races to Antarctica to investigate a murder in the winter premiere. 9 p.m., CBS

One Chicago crossover: A mystery illness on a passenger jet brings the Chicago worlds together in a race against time.  7 p.m., NBC

America’s Culinary Cup: Sixteen of the country’s most talented and celebrated chefs compete in this new culinary challenge, hosted by Padma Lakshmi, and with a $1 million prize on the line. Series premiere.  8:30 p.m., CBS

Young Sherlock: Guy Ritchie directs this new series, imagining the legendary detective as a young man. Series premiere.  Prime Video

Love is Blind: Let’s see which of these incompatible couples actually get married. (Hopefully, none of them except Vic and Christine.) Netflix

Vladimir: Rachel Weisz stars as a professor who becomes obsessed with her younger colleague in this darkly comedic erotic thriller. Series premiere. Netflix

Ted: The filthy-mouthed Teddy is back. Season two premiere. Peacock

Ladies of London: The New Reign: They overhauled the cast, apparently, and will be following a whole new group of Blue Bloods, American ex-pats, and other international socialites as they bicker over petty grievances. Series premiere. 8 p.m., Bravo

FRIDAY

Outlander: Jamie takes Claire home to the Ridge in the final season premiere. TIME, Starz

War Machine: Alan Ritchson stars in this action film as a recruit of a special ops group who faces a dangerous extraterritorial threat. Premiere.   Netflix

The Dinosaurs: Steven Spielberg executive produces, and Morgan Freeman narrates this look at the dinosaurs’ 165-million-year reign on this planet. Series premiere. Netflix

Hamnet: And presenting the most depressing Oscar nominee of the season … Streaming premiere. Peacock

Rooster: From the creator of Ted Lasso, Scrubs, and Shrinking, this new series stars Steve Carell as a famous author who has a complicated relationship with his adult daughter. Series premiere. 9 p.m., HBO
