There’s a very slim chance we might get more ‘Mindhunter.’ Pray hard to the TV gods.

This guy reminds me so much of my dog who passed last year, so if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go cry now. I’M SORRY TO BRING EVERYONE DOWN, BUT YOU’LL CHEER UP IF YOU WATCH THE VIDEO.

@honkifyoulovemydog

Very chill and peaceful 😁

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

For the first time ever, more people are streaming than watching network and cable TV combined. Additionally, and this is really interesting, network shows that are on streaming services have a much longer shelf life than they do on “linear” devices, like DVRs.

Tom Cruise, Dolly Parton, Debbie Allen, and Wynn Thomas will receive honorary Academy Awards at the 2025 Governors Awards.

HOLD UP. THERE’S A CHANCE WE COULD GET MORE MINDHUNTER?!? DO IT. DO IT, DAVID FINCHER! I AM BEGGING YOU. WHAT DO I NEED TO SACRIFICE TO YOU, TV GODS, TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN? MY FREE TIME? MY ATTENTION SPAN? MY RELATIONSHIP TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD? DONE.

James Gunn pointed out that Marvel drowned itself in content, and he’s not wrong.

The girlies are still fighting and fuck you for making me cheer on Tucker Carlson.

Ted Cruz appeared to admit to Tucker Carlson that the US is actively engaged against Iranian targets in a car-crash interview that aired last night. The Texas senator left the host stunned—after earlier admitting he had no idea what the population of Iran was, despite being one of Congress’ most strident voices for toppling the Islamic change. Eric Kripke is concerned about the chilling effect President Dorkus might have on storytelling. I mean, you don’t need to look any further than what is happening over at Paramount and 60 Minutes.

The 2025 Black Reel TV Awards nominees are here, and Forever, Abbott Elementary, and Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist received the most nods.

Our Pedro Pascal lookalike went on his show, The Daily Show, to talk about the experience, and once again, he looks so much like him, I didn’t really believe it WASN’T Pedro Pascal until he started speaking.

The Hollywood Reporter came up with their own list of the best TV of 2025 so far, and I agree a lot more with this list than the New York Times’ list that I posted yesterday. Still, sort of disappointed no one has included Dying for Sex, which was a little gem.

I will be so mad at Ryan Murphy if he makes me watch American Horror Story again.

Good news, weirdos: you can now apply to Nevermore Academy.

Apparently, there was a plan for a Buffy/Firefly crossover, and … I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I don’t hate it.

Pajiba out here doing the investigative work.

Here’s the oral history of the SNL “Domingo” sketch, in case you had unanswered questions.

Gross. I mean, congrats?

Jax Taylor is sorry, you guys.

Hold up, Jimmy Swaggert is STILL ALIVE? I could have sworn he died back in the 90s. Get well soon … I guess.

  1. I’ll side with the New York Times in including Murderbot in my best-of-2025-so-far list. And so far I’ve only watched two episodes of The Survivors (Netflix), which is also looking pretty best-y. And … if there were a best-older-show-premiering-on-American-streaming-this-year list, I’d have to include Pernille (Netflix), a comedy/drama about a Norwegian single mother that I like at least as much as Better Things.
