Happy “Independence” Day. I guess.

I’m going to be honest: it’s not my favorite holiday. Never has been, but especially not this year, what with the whole rights being stripped and a failed reality TV host being promised the keys to a dictatorship in a few months thing. But y’all go ahead and celebrate by eating hot dogs and blowing your fingers off with bottle rockets; I’ll be over here trying to find the best foreign country that welcomes American retirees. NO REASON.

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Change of plans: now President Biden’s interview with George Stephanopoulos will be broadcast in its entirety tomorrow night in a primetime special. It airs at 7/8 p.m. on ABC. Previously ABC had planned to leak it out in bits all weekend, airing it in its entirety on This Week on Sunday morning. After more media outlets and big-money donors (including Reed Hastings of Netflix, and Damon Lindelof) called for Biden to step aside, the campaign has taken a different tack. I’m just going to be over here holding my breath and waiting for someone to tell me who the nominee is going to be.

Please do not send your unsolicited sex tapes or nudes to the Bridgerton casting director. She’s seen enough.

Is Kaitlyn Bristowe the host of The Golden Bachelorette? Mayhaps!

The head of Marvel is promising that the upcoming Agatha is going to be “really fun” and “really scary” and then you’ll be crying. Sounds like quite the rollercoaster.

Andy Cohen is sorry about that time he asked Oprah if she had ever taken a “dip in the lady pond.” (She responded that she had not, just FYI.)

There is a possible iCarly movie in the works to help close up that cliffhanger series finale.

Abdulaziz Almuzaini, the creator of a popular animated series in Saudi Arabia that is on Netflix, has been convicted of promoting extremism through the cartoon series and social media posts, despite the series being celebrated by the state government. It’s very confusing.

A reminder that cartoons are often considered dangerous, even here:

Congratulations, Vanessa Hudgens!
