Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Pat Sajak is retiring from Wheel of Fortune after 41 seasons.
Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last. It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!)
— Pat Sajak (@PatOnWheel) June 12, 2023
Thanks to his politics, reactions are mixed:
When we started @WheelofFortune who could have imagined we’d still be at it 41 seasons later? I couldn’t be happier to have shared the stage with you for all these years with one more to come. Cheers to you, @patsajak! https://t.co/yYmo3G0Dtb

Pat Sajak, conservative extremist and climate changer denier, announced he’s gonna retire after 41 seasons as host of “Wheel of Fortune” — which I’m pretty sure is the longest any game show host has gone without having a clue.

Jeopardy has never been the same without Alex Trebek.
Wheel of Fortune's gonna be just fine without Pat Sajak.

And there are some reports that Ryan Seacrest might be interested in replacing him. Frankly, I don’t care who hosts. I just want them to restore the shopping element, and I NEED someone to buy that goddamned Dalmatian.

Netflix wants to get into live sports via golf. ~yawn~

Treat Williams, a TV, film, and Broadway actor known for Everwood, Hair, Blue Bloods, Deep Rising, and much more
Working with Treat Williams in Mamet’s “Speed the Plow” at Williamstown in ‘91 was the start of great friendship. Damn it, damn it.

After years of cop reporting, Prince Of The City was the only film that made me believe anyone else knew the truth about the drug war. So honored when Treat Williams signed on to deliver our own, later critique of the disaster. RIP to a legendary actor and a fine, gracious man.

Treat Williams was a passionate, adventurous, creative man. In a short period of time, he quickly befriended me & his adventurous spirit was infectious. We worked on just 1 film together but occasionally connected over the years. Kind and generous with advice and support. RIP pic.twitter.com/jjZN8VcLR8
